Forgive my newby question about barenia -- it starts out matte and get shiny with use? I have only seen a barenia/toile birkin IRL and the barenai was matte. How do you ensure that the shiny patenia develops evenly? Or is it a several year process?

Yippee to you Kat, I am also so in love with this Barenia of yours...it's got just that amount of patina that makes you go: AAHHHH! I think that this birkin of yours will be seeing the sun VERY often!

lulilu....I have no idea, lol! I think it starts out as matte and then develops patina/shine/darkening. I wouldn´t say that mine is super shiny IRL, the flash made it much more shiny.

Thank you, they are my all time favorite bags!!!!! There are a few still out there, my boutique has a natural, natural with orange, natural with vert anis, and an ebene with curry the last time I checked.
