Thanks MsPiggy and Perigord! I think that my post in Pepper's nightmare thread would be that I had a dream that I wore it to a tPF meet, and left with drool spots on the bag LOL! I am keeping my own mouth covered when I look at it. Bwahahaha!

Bag punk, my barenia has been treated with saddle balm. Afterwards, I came to the decision to treat it with obernaufs. Pics are in doc's thread.

My toile barenia evelyne (there is a pic in this thread) has had water damage and other damage. I am hoping to avoid that with my HAC.

Perhaps post a pic of your bag in the vintage thread and ask Doc what can be done?

BTW, I've almost entirely given up on suede. . .think you are brave to wear suede in the rain lol.

I don't know if I could handle an entire bag of it unless it was in a darker color like ebene or perhaps, vert olive. I refuse to do the twilly thing on the handle of any bag. So far I just have my barenia/horsehair Kelly and that has held me so far.
