Dear Barenia fellows,
As I have excitedly shared my lucky Barenia acquisition, I realised I have a lot to learn about this bag.

This is my very first H bag and after reading as much as I could - I thought I know at least the basics such as the blind stamp, care and maintenance and it’s patina process.

Now I thought the year/date stamp would be where the other Birkin bags would be, ie the closure belt - but I couldn’t see on mine (unless I’m really blind n missed it!)

I have asked the SA and since the store was busy, she said she would research for me when she returns to the store after the weekend closure.

May I check if anyone could help enlightening me in the meantime as I am itching to know!

I know we don’t discuss certain details on open discussions, so would I kindly ask if anyone wouldn’t mind PM-ing me?

Will appreciate it tremendously and thanking in advance!

For care and maintenance look at Docride's threads in the Reference section.
It is now well-known in the public domain that the manufacturing stamps are now at the top of one of the side panels.
