I fell in love immediately with the blue iridescent Coco Handle - it has a beautiful sheen to it, hard to capture in photos. And I've been resisting 19s as I initially felt they often look a bit messy, they've been growing on me and decided the metallic silver was the perfect neutral to take the plunge - and have to admit it's beautiful, seems very wearable, and the back pocket is a nice everyday feature.

I own several YSLs, Pradas and Givenchys, but I always thought that a Chanel would be too excessive for me (even though I earn enough money). But guess what, I bought my first Chanel on Monday, a Mini Square in Lambskin with champagne gold hardware. Surprisingly, because I thought I don't want to wear gold hardware, and I thought I was too scared of lambskin. But it was love on first sight - she looks so classy and cute. And I thought that I should only own one Chanel bag, so a classic choice would make sense.

The other options were a mini reissue in patent leather with black hardware, the mini reissue in chevron in calfskin and black hardware and the new woc in caviar with the big cc.

Unfortunately, I'm still wondering if it was the right decission, because I can't get the other options out of my head (and I wonder if I would get more wear out of these?), but I guess this is the Chanel Virus

Any opinions on whether it was a good choice?

Congratulations on this beauty! I would fall head over heels, love at first sight too! Square minis are more difficult to find in my experience. I would be in purse heaven if I could get my hands on this beauty. Out of the other options you mentioned, I consider this one the most classic and if you're only going to have one Chanel, (but why would you? :P) this one should be it.

The boots are actually a re-purchase. I originally bought a pair in 2017 and can honestly say they did not leave my feet that winter or the following two winters, I walked miles in those boots. In January, due to my bad packing during a trip, I managed to break the chain on one of the boots. I was mortified. My SA was confident the boot could be repaired but the workshop in Paris said no. I was very sad. My SA gave me a credit note which she did not have to do, and also placed a special order with the workshop. Eight months later, the boots are back in my life and I could not be happier.
