I both love and hate this thread lol. I came here to post that I bought the Mercer 24 but even though I liked it it was way too small so I was going to return it. Like you guys I'm obsessed with Hologram so I was thinking I would probably get the 30 but only if it was on sale because I went a little overboard this holiday season, and now I see here that it's on sale lol.
Definitely not overkill, they have very different vibes!! I tend to wear my HBs with dressier outfits, and the mercer a bit more casual.
I caved and ordered the mercer wallet (they show the wrong type of leather in the online pics) and reordered the market tote. I had just sent the tote back last week since I have last year's version but at 50% off it was an acceptable price to use as a "kid/baby" bag.
I have definitely gone crazy with my hologram collection but I truly do love it. From last year I bought: hologram market tote, crossgrain wristlet, tiny cosmetic case, 2 mini skinny, double zip phone wallet, crosby crossbody, oilslick rhyder, oilslick rhyder crossbody, gold tone nolita wristlet from outlet, HB phone wallet.
This year: hologram mercer, market tote, taylor tote, crossbody pouch, medium cosmetic case, pebbled leather wristlet, small wallet, soft wallet, mercer wallet, oilslick rexy fob, HB continental wallet, HB large gotham(ebay find), and HB large Houston.
I have used every piece except for what I ordered late last night. I never go a day without carrying at least one hologram piece with me. The pretty colors are so cheerful to look at.

I would have bought a hologram wallet at HB if they made one like the soft wallet. I absolutely love my HB phone wallet. I hope the Coach soft wallet I ordered is as pretty. I'm worried because they don't seem to be very consistent at the application of the colors. I saw a wristlet on ebay that looked entirely purple. You couldn't see any color variation at all.
I have ordered doubles of almost everything this year when I bought online because some pieces just aren't as nice as others. When I was in my local boutique a few weeks ago 3 of their 4 wristlets were just solid purple and a mercer satchel was almost completely a dull, ugly, brownish green. My first HB Houston was not very attractive either, mostly green and the purple blended in so much on one spot it was actually brown. My 2nd one looks a million times nicer with a variety of colors. I really love all of my HBs, so much I got over my no gold hardware rule lol. They also get the most compliments when I'm out.
You can get a price adjustment but you have to take it back into the store, or you can just order another one online with free shipping, and return the other one at your leisure.I just went in store yesterday and bought the 17 cosmetic case, now it's $37.50 today.

Yes, but you have to bring it and your receipt back to the store.
Are the cosmetic cases sold out online? I didn't see any, thinking of calling my boutique to see if they have any of the large ones left.
