The fact that everyone has a speedy didn't really factor into my decision of getting one. I didn't buy an LV to fit in with everyone else, I bought one cause I think they're classic pieces that'll last me for a long time. It's like many people have mentioned, who cares what everyone else has? Why let something petty like that stop you from having a really great bag.

i got my first LV bag (speedy 30 from ebay) after i joined this forum (march 1)...then 3 other LV things (all gently used form purseforum members ) - all in 1 month. this obsession is not good, esp if you're saving for a downpayment on a house.

I was obsessed after my first LV long time ago. I had bought many small accessories/clutches in the past couple of years and sold them off, thinking that I was done w/LV. But with the money I made off of the small LV pieces, I ended up buying a couple of big ones. I mainly like the Epi, Monogram and Damier line but don't really care for the rest and the seasonal items.

I'm obsessed with LV too. I can't explain it. I have other designer bags that I adore, but my love for them does not compare to my love for LV.
