I live on Sloane Square so inevitably I end up in Harvey Nicks or Harrods. I know every bag by name and uaully more that the SA. Some look at me like im mad and some enjoy it!
I don't care, I'm a handbag lover!
So English Girl, I'm with you. HN's staff think im nutty. Snce the Balenciaga display moved from infront of Chloe to infront of YSL, I manage to drool even more. (as i collect sunglasses, i can use that as my excuse- sunglasses are really close to the new balenciaga display)
You know what? me and english girl could have ver easily bumped into each other, or eyed each others bags!

On a slight side note: London Brat, have you seen any green b-bags at HN in London? Either the origan or emerald colours? Cos I'm not certain if HN Leeds is getting any in, so I might have to look elsewhere.

Oh! I thought you were from London! Im lucky as i live in Sloane Square (for all non-UKers; Sloane sq and street is the main desinger boutique street in the UK. Ever couture house and boutique imaginable is here) I can browse the shops next door AND live a stones throw away from HN's and Harrods (famously said to stock "everything"...its is the epitome of top range luxury items).

There are LOADS of B-bags in Harvey Nicks London. No Emerald though. I was in paris this weekend (came back on tues) and asked Balenciaga (george V) there and they said they don't have it in this season. They have 2 different darker shades of greens though.
There saw greens in selfridges and none in HN at the moment. But I'm a priority customer (long term card holder) so I can have them order one in. If you want me to arrange it PM me.
BTW there are some gorgeous deep green pony hair ones available on order as well. Gorgeous.
I know the HN in Leeds is quite good, but you should come down to London and check out the insane Harrods stock on, well, everything! The flagship HN here is also terrific. The Marc Jacobs, Chloe, YSL, Balenciaga and Choo bag collections are very large and well stocked (and shoes...ah dont get me started on the shoes).
Awww man.......drool. I might be down in London in a few months - I usually come down for the Proms. Might have to swap the day of sight-seeing for a day of shopping instead.

Well, they still have the navy JC Ramona - I can't believe no-one's bought it yet. Its been there for weeks!
Balenciaga - all the cornflower bags appear to be gone, so its a good job I wasn't going in to buy one. They had a few ink twiggies and firsts - varying degrees of distressing. There was a day in black, cities in pink and black, and firsts in ink, white, pink and the new rust colour, which I maintain looks like curry sauce. Not quite as orange in person though. They also had the courier in this colour - far too much IMO. Oh, and the cognac city and first were still there, under the plexiglass so I couldn't get any closer.:cry:
Fendi - I've never seen so many Spys all in one place.:weird: There was white (yum!), honey (yum) and cognac (yum - can you tell I liked them?) in the leather, and two python ones - one was pink and gold, the other turquoise and gold. Stunning, but too expensive for moi.
Chloe - the whiskey Edith was still there - can you believe it? I wouldn't let it sit there for almost two weeks. There were multiple python silveradoes, but no detail for them unless anyone wants it specifically. Paddingtons - the big pocket in mousse was still there. There were satchels in gold, silver, mousse (OMG I'm in love! Why don't I have more money!:cry: ) and what I believe was jaune. Oh, and a black one too! There was also a zippy in jaune (the medium I think, since it looked a fairly manageable size), and either a 48hour or a shopping tote in Whiskey - I can't remember which one now.:blink: Stupid girl!
