Just a brief report to add to the others: I was on line at about 11;00 yesterday; it took about 45 minutes to get in. There were a lot of plumes at the time, and I almost bought a 28cm in Havanne, but couldn't talk myself into it. Someone bought a green/brown Amazonia tote/briefcase that I wanted (I think my desire enabled her; it was really interesting so I hope she enjoys it). I ended up with a Cheval Marwari green/black/brown silky pop, a green losange, and a men's scarf that I wanted for myself. Not much, I know, but I felt simultaneously frugal and sated. I love my silky-pop, and at that price. . . There were many things I COULD have bought, but not much that I had to have. Everyone was very nice, and I had a great time. When I was almost to the front of the cashier's line, I saw someone buying gloves, and I realized I hadn't seen them and I need gloves. . . but I couldn't summon the energy to go back.

Lady-Penelope, thank you for enforcing Da Rulez. HNN and I were not that far behind you and we witnessed a lot of the line-jumping--some of it happened right in front of us, but I am not as good at being assertive so I didn't say anything. It was a little annoying because we came from outside of NYC and got up at 4 AM to get (and stay in!) our place in line. I tried to keep a good attitude about it because we got into the sale when it opened anyway and I was more worried about getting home by midafternoon to take over toddler duties from DH than I was about getting anything in particular. But good for you for speaking up!

BTW I am regretting putting back that Fantaisies Indiennes...oh well! I love what I kept.

On my radar: H au Mosaique. As is usually the case with me, I needed to see it open and in action before I could conceptualize its role in my life. Now I need it. :p Thank you, Lady-Penelope! Additional thanks for sharing your story and pictures.

LadyPenelope - thank you for enforcing the rules!!! It really is annoying that some people feel entited to cutting in line while everyone else patiently waits. We need more people like you in the line :)
