Yes, Ive seen him in the BH store before. He was very flashy and loud as you can probably tell by his photos.

I couldn’t agree more!I’m still saving for my first (and only) K28 and it seems like I’ll never get there but this just reinforces why I have never and would never, EVER buy anywhere but a official boutique. I don’t care how trusted a reseller site or wealthy collector is, I’ll never be able to trust the authenticity. That’s just me. I’ve lived in Asia and have seen every level of fake - from the terribly bad to the best of the best. My cousin bought a “Balenciaga Moto” at a superfake shop in Beijing some years ago and we took it to a Neimans where her friend worked. The SA at Balenciaga pulled the same bag from her stock and put them side by side and couldn’t find any difference in material quality, stitching, nothing!
And that was ten years ago. The superfakes today are SOOO good that they can slip past trained brand employees, never mind the appraisers at TRR, ReBag, FP etc. I do believe resellers do their best at authentication work and most bags are authentic, but the reality is superfakes DO slip through. That’s just not a gamble I’m willing to take.
I feel exactly the same. Ive even heard that some brands have been unknowingly selling fakes that were previous returns. can you imagine! However I do want to buy a vintage Box Kelly from my birth year, these would be easier to authenticate I assume.I’m still saving for my first (and only) K28 and it seems like I’ll never get there but this just reinforces why I have never and would never, EVER buy anywhere but a official boutique. Not to mention how these counterfeits are generally tunneled to fund terrorism organizations and exploiting child labor and/or unsafe working conditions, etc.![]()
Exclusive | Alleged faux Hermès seller ‘banned’ from high society, pal speaks out
The alleged fake bag seller has been taken off lists from high-society charity events, say society sources.pagesix.com
Looks like he's been actively banned from NY social circles. AS SHOULD BE.
I hate when people say there are no human victims of counterfeits. If your goal is to get a super fake, of course no ones the victim. But when these super fakes are strategically introduced into the real market in forms of returns, or sold by the likes of this scum, you'll have countless victims from the multimillionaire to the common customer that has saved up for their first birkin.
Sorry, this is actually OT because I misread the article. Please move to Hermes and influencers if appropriate. Similar to the NY fraud, this guy has been banned from the Hermes FB page and allegedly banned from buying directly from Hermes. He used to post pictures of himself inside the BH store and now has removed all photos of himself inside the BH Hermes store On Facebook.I guess the NY scandal encouraged this fraud to come clean. Maybe he just wanted a little bit of the limelight. Ewww, he just moved to LA and actually shops at the Beverly Hills store. He posts all over the FB Hermes BST.

Unfortunately the damage has been done. Being shunned is what he deserves at the very least![]()

I’m so paranoid that this is also why I’ve done all my previous major bag purchases at airport boutiques. Granted, the selection is not always as good, but it’s nearly impossible to return a bag to a boutique in an international airport that requires you to go through a security check first ☺I feel exactly the same.
