Yikes.....that's why I only buy from the H boutique. I'd rather have a real Aline bag (no disrespect to anyone who has it.....in fact, I have it and I love it!) from H than an "I'm-not-so-sure-if-it's-real-CrocB25-from-a-socialite-with-a-$100Minheritance-from-richgrandpa-allegedly". Don't care if the reseller is a best friend of Coste or is best buddies with a President or a King or is an adviser to the world's richest guy or most powerful leader in the world or owns the most expensive yacht and also jet sets to Paris or Milan every day or every night! But that is just me and my comfort level. Those are just my opinions based on what was posted here. Others can do what they wish to do with their money of course.

There are lots of super fakes out there. Nobody deserves to be scammed, rich or not.
I saw a Tik Tok yesterday from Hannah Stella who said that she was very good friends with the scammer, and left Hotel du cap ferrat to go to Paris to have a meeting with Michael Coste in FSH that her "friend" had set up. When she arrived they had no idea what she was talking about. Michael doesn't know him and there was no meeting set up. She was mortified, burst into tears and in the end was offered a gold birkin, so she wasn't too upset, lol. But what I do not understand with these people, what was his thought process here? It would be immediately obvious he was a liar when she turned up to no VIP meeting, Bananas.
The thought process is twisted by the demand for H bags & simply the greed of this scammer
(why dignify his name when he is such a despicable character & has taken advantage
knowing he is selling "fakes")
through contacts & access he had. You mention the "right names" & who knows who falls at the
feet of him with with their tongues hanging out for an H bag at any price.. simply sad & shameful
Sadly, the way that world works is by connections. If you are in the circle, there is a trust there that is not usually questioned. Given that he was working through the reputation of his mother, he gained the trust of folks who tend to trust within the circle. Unfortunately, that led to their betrayal. So sad, no one deserves to be scammed in this way.

I wonder whether scams like this could be reduced or eliminated if the Hermes boutiques had authenticators onsite and resold previously owned bags themselves.
My dear departed mother used to say 'Money is the root of all evil' strong words I know but greed is a terrible thing I have family members who no longer speak to their siblings due to (perceived) issues over inheritance.
Marriages and friendships can disintegrate due to issues with money.
I've seen some of the worst behaviour borne about by greed.
I do find it sad.

Yes, the biblical caution, for the love of money is the root of all evil... always applies to these scammers.

Lived on a diet of caviar & champagne at the trust & expense of others who were none the wiser (supposedly)
It's unfortunate that these socialites are not going to come forward & look to prosecute him
because they don't want their names exposed. Step up to the plate gals.. this guy is deserving
of some type of punishment & being shunned is not the answer.

I guess the NY scandal encouraged this fraud to come clean. Maybe he just wanted a little bit of the limelight. Ewww, he just moved to LA and actually shops at the Beverly Hills store. He posts all over the FB Hermes BST.
