Thanks! So far no one I’ve spoken to about it has ever seen one. Flat brass as I’m sure you know was only used in the early bags of 2001-02 so to find it on a 2005 bag is quite remarkable.This is so stunning and so rare! I love teal coloured Bals

I’ve been searching old TPF threads but so far no reference at all to a FB M/U...from what I can find the first M/Us were in 03, so it could have conceivably been a transition piece but the colour looks like 05 teal.Yes, it could be a transitional one (drooling)
Not if it’s an 05 teal though. If it was an 03 I’d say yes but not an 05.
Mercari Find: giant"pink violet " hip bag (pink violet is what the tag said). She is immensely more faded than my phone shows and has loads of denim transfer on the back.

.So, further to the flat brass M/U for those who are interested. Had a chat with Corey at RDC and she's never seen one either. She agrees with it being 05 teal, and thinks that it was either a special order or someone grabbed the flat brass instead of the regular brass HW in 04 when they were producing the 05 bags.
could it be just altered if the original stud fell out/lost? and flat hw was used from another bag (beaten-up) and all studs replaced? how does it look from inside?
Just arrived today, bowler pm in Cigar fonce I think ? My question for you balenciaga ladies is what year did this come out and this leather is so thick and gorgeous, I find it hard to believe it's lambskin. Any info would be much appreciated !!
