THIS is my newest reveal.What do you all think? I had to post all photos so you can really admire this 2005 S/S APPLE GREEN CITY with PEWTER hardware! I’m sooooooo grateful for my sweet, amazing friend in Texas who sent this unicorn my way knowing my love for Balenciaga bags. The first pic was taken in natural light and represents the vibrant colour the best. The rest were taken under artificial lighting in my bedroom.
I’m just stunned. The corners are not worn, the handles not warmed, chèvre is perfectly distressed and slouchy - this bag is PRISTINE.

Tbh, I'm not sure! It's pretty thick it seems, and it's almost like a waxed or partially glazed / distressed suede.
This is Corey's old post...still doesn't say what type hide it is though...
"I would describe "monk" leather as having a waxed finish that's rubbed to the point of starting to suede the surface. It's somewhat porous, yet due to the irregular distressing and top coating, it's easy to wear and looks even better after lots of use. Monk leather is in between leather and suede, but not really either of them, it's a unique finish from my experience."
