It happened to be a pure luck for me LOL! I was chatting with my friend about how I've been looking for a small cf in this combination. She then contacted her SA to put me on a waitlist. The kind SA responded very quickly and said there happened to be a shipment on that day and the boutique has one right now. The SA asked me to drop by the boutique the next day to pickup the bag, which I did! Pure luck! I still can't believe what happened!

Is there a reason that these classic flap bags are in such low supply? I am looking to purchase one, and have been on a waiting list for a month with no movement. Is this normal for the classic Chanel flap? Curious how long others have had to wait to purchase - note that I am on a Chanel boutique wait list as I am not sure how to find an SA in a non-Chanel boutique.

my husband surprised me when we were in LA and took me to buy a black medium classic flap ghw and they had them in stock at 2 of the boutiques there but I decided to hold off on purchasing the bag until we got home to Vancouver as I didn’t want to deal with customs and being charged duty on it, I fully expected to have to wait to get the bag in Vancouver (my husband had checked with them before we went to LA and they told him it’s a couple months wait), however when we got home and went to our local store they had just received some in stock so I was pleasantly surprised I was able to get it that day.

Congrats! I was at the Vancouver boutique in the end of October this year and saw a medium classic flap in lamb and ghw. I think it's easier to find a medium cf than a small as medium is more popular. From the price point's perspective medium is a much better choice too!
