The classic slingbacks have been on my wishlist ever since they first came out. I have no occasion for them in the foreseeable future, and who knows if I’m even going back to the office after this pandemic. Still happy I pulled the trigger on them! I justified it with Nordstrom 10pt days. If you see someone walking to their mailbox or taking out the trash in these, it me.

I got this in a small. Given the popularity of the houndstooth tweed with the white coco ribbon going through it, I figured that this would be quite sought after as well. It seems like it would be a little harder wearing though due to the darker colours (less risk for visible staining).

Granted, it won’t be my everyday, drag around bag but it was one that I genuinely felt like I just had to have. Tweed is so very classic Chanel and this one is definitely special!

Shoot - my SA had it in the second largest size; should I have snapped it up? I passed on it because I was waiting for the maxi, but on my next visit the SA was like "the website is fantasy; they're out of their minds on the website" (meaning the website says things are available but then there's like one in the entire country lol).

Alyssa Lenore has this in the size I passed on and she said the same thing; not terrible to wear, very special with the ribbons going through it, but not going to be her everyday bag because it's still higher maintenance than leather.

Got these red plaid tweed slingbacks. Can’t wait to wear them for the holidays, even if it’s just around my house.

I cannot believe I pulled the trigger on this when considering that I bought my jumbo for more than 30% less just a few years ago...but this colour (20b) is stunning!!! Chevron with light gold hardware...I have been obsessing about a red cf that doesn’t have orange undertones and I think I found it! Pictures do not do this justice!
