Not happy w/ my LV BOULOGNE 30

was the zipper possibly replaced at some point by a non-LV repair? If the zipper was replaced, LV won't touch it. Always tell them you bought the bag on consignment if you have an obviously used bag.

I do remember looking at ebay auctions for pics of other Boulogne bags after the zipper was bothering me -- and saw that many of them had this same characteristic...

I agree. I wouldn't tell them you purchased it from ebay - I've heard they somethings turn up their noses regarding ebay. Silly but I've heard that.

So if I take it to the store will they do anything for me since I bought it off ebay and don't have a receipt?

You can definatly take it to ANY Louis Vuitton free standing or lease boutique and all you have to do is tell them you bought it off ebay and they will authenticate it for you once they recognize it as one of their items they can give you further assistance. I can give you a guess estimate on how much it could cost to have it changed the entire zipper it would be somewhere around $120-$150 depending on how old the bag is as well because on changing it they will try to make it look as new as possible you know... Just go to your local LV boutique and ask for assistance on that
