I am from the home of Nordstrom and you cannot go wrong with Nordstrom. If you call any Nordstrom, I prefer Portland and my SA is Kate, she will find you what you want. They carry many high end bags including the $7000. Chloe that everyone is talking about. My SA will call me when any rare handbag comes in and gives me first dibs at purchasing. If they don't have it they will try and find it. Nordstrom is awesome and 10 years after my little Fendi was purchased, I brought it to them and asked if they could repair my strap, at no charge they did. I spilt bleach on my leather Brahmin and they preplaced the bottom and magically repaired the rest so I couldn't even tell. No charge. Nordstorm.com doesn't carry all the stuff that the stores carry, so just pick up the phone and call one.

not all the nordstroms carry the high-end bags; none of the ones in Atlanta do...although i wonder if they could get them for me....hmmm...

because i'd really rather not throw my money away at saks and neimans. neimans is bad, but i've never had worse service than i did while try to buy an IF audra at saks - the lady practically called me an idiot to my face. throughout the whole sale, she rolled her eyes at me, looked down her nose, talked to me in a patronizing tone, and was just a general *****. i had half a mind to get her fired - why would anyone want to spend 400 with someone like that?

I was just in Neimans yesterday trying to buy something from the Kiehl's counter. The saleslady made a snotty remark when I told her what color lip balm I wanted, and then I was reminded that they only take AMEX. Alas. I told them to forget it and I'd go get my Kiehl's across the street at Saks.

Where do these salespeople get off undermining customers? Insolent stupid woman!
