Yes, definitely closer to a BLACK. Frankly, I thought it was black until I logged back onto Nordstrom and it stated Navy.

Today, I received a few more shipments from Nordstrom. I got the Barbour Croxdale Waxed Cotton Jacket. I ordered sizes 8 and 10, and the size 8 fits perfectly with a little room. The typical Barbour jackets are a bit longer; however, I was really drawn to this slightly cropped version. It's the perfect jacket for fall, paired with jeans and comfortable boots or sneakers. While heavy, the jacket isn't warm enough for winter and isn't the best choice for traveling during the winter, as it is too bulky. It's better to stick with lighter down jackets for travel. I will be returning the size 10. I also received the Theory Boxy Wool & Recycled Cashmere Jacket in a size medium. Fits well; however, it's more suited for an office look, and I already have similar light gray jackets, so I'll be returning this one.

I was looking at the Michele band things for Apple Watches (I searched Michele immediately after seeing that stunning Michele watch on our friend yesterday - didn’t we all?!) It is kind of funny to think about buying a band and frame that is all blingy and Michele-y when really still an Apple Watch. Maybe one on each wrist? Gorgeous classic wrist and high tech 2025 wrist?

I was thinking that too. Might get some odd looks. Thats why I want Apple to make a nice looking bracelet to wear on one wrist. Sigh…such problems.

Also this does appear like I may keep all three lol. I will say though if the black suede knee high boots come back in a size 10 i might grab those and return the black booties, im so shocked that only the size 10 sold out in the knee high!! Figures lol.

Yay!!! Thank you for posting photos, I've ordered the Champagne and the Mocha days ago and nothing is shipping, just "preparing" for DAYS and I haven't seen them yet. I like the color! Not sure how great it is to be Ambassador if your orders don't ship and one item has already been canceled when it looked fully stocked when I ordered it.

Thats so weird, I dont understand why my order would ship before yours when I purchased a day after you!! I hope they ship soon.

I also love the champagne color! Im not sure what I expected but they are perfect, really beautiful. Im excited to see the mocha ones next!! I assume I will get them Monday or Tuesday.

Returned the Pistola black and white sweater this morning without opening it and received the Rack one this afternoon. Kind of wished I had opened and kept the first to compare, but the Rack one is also 100% cotton and lower in price and that's good enough for me.

So I was putting my new purchases away, and I noticed that this sweater is a Medium. I’m an XS. It’s the one I tried on in this pic. Do we like the oversized look in this? Should I try an XS? What should I do?

The sleeves look long, try a S. You can still get an oversized look but better fitting sleeves.

I think both would look cute on you: oversized for a daily relaxed, casual 90's era look, and more fitted for a more proper, casual look for work, etc. I know, that's no help 😂

My purchases items are still "preparing to ship" since 7/9. Most items are still available to buy,. Anyone else still preparing to ship status from 7/9 or earlier?
I've been dissatisfied with Nordstrom online shopping for a while now, but was hoping they would get it together for their big sale event.

Update: I checked again tonight and finally 5 of my 7 items have shipped. One of the two items still preparing to ship is the Maison De Sabre weekender charm: totally don't need and was not on my list, but my Spidey senses "made" me impulse-buy.

Don’t you just love them? I will say, there is what appears to be a lighter are on the back of each boot down by the heel on ALL of the champagne colored ones. The gal thought maybe it was part of the weatherization process. All of that color had them in the same spot.

The brown and black ones don’t. Weird, huh?

Regarding enthusiasm on the thread… I agree it has been quieter this year but maybe it’s partly cause most people buy online and most of it has not arrived yet? Especially since the overnight/2-day shipping options were less of a thing this year. I haven’t received anything yet but I am excitedly waiting!

My goal going in this year was simple - don’t buy a leather jacket. So at first opportunity I went ahead and bought the AllSaints greenish brownish suede one. (Suede is not leather…)

It’s hard cause I try to not to buy the things I don’t need or have a million of, but at the same time - I have a million cause they are what I love most and bring the most joy to buy. So shouldn’t I get that instead of underwear or whatever? Talk about some existential **** right there…

Ha ha that’s always my go to every year and I told myself I won’t buy any All Saints. That went out thr window lol. I got the leather bomber and leather moto.
