Lizzie necklace is back!

I was at Nordstrom doing returns when it popped back up, hopefully it ships this time!

I went and used my $25 gift card for coffee, salad and sandwich at the Ebar.

Used my $15 for the Kiehls hand cream duo, it ends up being $33 for two when that's usually the regular price for one.

I received my first Nordstrom order today (influencer status). I bought the Rains Bomber Jacket in Navy (the only color available on sale) in both medium and small sizes. The jacket runs slightly large. I usually wear a medium, and the small fits well. The website states the jacket is water-resistant; however, the lady in the video said it is waterproof. I'm keeping the small since it’s a stylish alternative that can be dressed up or down, unlike typical puffy, lightweight down jackets (nothing against those, just a more fashionable option).

I'm back from my store. They were having a super duper party today. Music, a drink bar, servers walking around with treats and deluxe beauty samples with purchase. You had to go to the cosmetics area and sign in to get a pink wristband (and a pink shopping bag filled with samples) that allowed you to get the goodies plus it entered you into regular drawings. I turned in my two $5 scratch off cards and received two $5 coffee cards. I used my $15 off for the Le Labo Anniversary Santal 33 and got a lot of Le Labo samples. This purchase entitled me to three deluxe items from a special station. I walked around to look for golden hangers, but had no luck. I'm excited for those of you who find one!

Ohhh your store must be one of the ones having a "beauty soiree" today! That explains it. My store has their regular beauty bash event next Saturday.

Does anyone know about double points day policies? I used a double points day for my NAS purchase but need to change a couple of sizes for myself and family. Nordstrom online is telling me I won't get my double points if I exchange for the same item in a different size. This seems different than what I remember?

You can do a return in store, have them put the refund $ on a Nordies gift card, and then have the SA place orders for the new sizes for you (or get them in store if available). Think that's the only way to avoid losing the extra points!

What’s the benefit to upgrading to the Visa?

There’s no foreign transaction fee which is beneficial when traveling abroad

I purchased it. The fit was GREAT, EF knows how to drape and cut their pieces. The fabric is the reason I returned it. It arrived in its original packaging, folded in tissue and then sealed in an EF bag. When I unwrapped it all, it looked like it was covered in lint! And I agree with Sabrunka it’s much more of an olive color than brown.

Here is a pic. It looks like there is snow all over the jacket!

My purchases items are still "preparing to ship" since 7/9. Most items are still available to buy,. Anyone else still preparing to ship status from 7/9 or earlier?
I've been dissatisfied with Nordstrom online shopping for a while now, but was hoping they would get it together for their big sale event.

I'm in the same holding pattern!

I made 5 orders on 7/9. 1 was cancelled, 2 were delivered and two others have been shipped.

Usually that's me - however this year everything I ordered on the 9th and 10th have shipped.

Most of mine are preparing to ship. The boring things shipped. All the cool stuff hasn’t.

I received everything I ordered on 7/9 today, except for a free people sweater and Maison de Sabre backpack.

Happy for you all! 🙂 Fingers crossed mine (and others in the same boat) will ship soon, and not get the dreaded "out of stock" message.

Perfect advice. This is exactly what I did once in the past in order to avoid losing my points on a return.

My order from the 10th is still preparing and there were no expediting shipping options. Maybe the 10th isn't up in the que yet.
