Well, I just received an order I placed from Nordstrom for a Mango leather jacket. I looooove it!! Its such a soft, gorgeous leather, and looks really good on me. Well I happened to come online to check out rest of Mango's leather jacket assortment since I had another one on my wishlist, and I find out that the jacket I just got is $190 plus 15% off from Mango while I paid $300 on Nordstrom. I do remember checking a few days ago and the coat was also $300 on Mango. I'm SO happy I checked now because the other jacket (a longer, brown suede coat) was also cheaper than nordstrom, and an extra 15% off, AND Rakuten had 10% cashback as well. I am clearly returning the one I got from Nordstrom.

Long story short, I just grabbed both leather coats from Mango direct for a total of $400, plus 10% cash back so basically $360!

You can turn in up to 4 scratch tickets :) We are allowed one per day so you're good!

Julia Jordan Sleeveless Tiered Mock Neck Waist Tie Dress - I haven't seen this talked about much on this thread, but I've worn the Anthropologie Somerset Maxi Halter dress to DEATH this year and was hoping this would be another stellar find in a similar shape and lovely print. Unfortunately, the fabric feels and looks cheap -- it's pretty shiny and kind of staticky. Depending on the print, the Anthropologie dress feels and looks far dressier. I liked the print and colors of the Julia Jordan, but also thought it ran a little large (this is a size 4; I'm trying to figure out sizing now that I've lost some weight this year). Funnily enough I feel like it looks nicer in the pic than in person.



LRL Wool Blend Tweed Coat - I need a new winter coat and ordered a few LRL and Reiss from the sale to try. This one was pretty heavy, warm, ran large, and the lining felt cheap (both not the right kind of slippery and kind of itchy?). Shoulders are pretty structured/wide. I didn't even take a pic of it lol.

The LRL coat was basically smooshed in a box (on a hanger) too, which was sad.

I was going to say, the dress looks very cute on you in the photo!

Good for you! We had no success with "the claw", and I felt kind of bad because the woman in front of us seemed to have tightly gripped one and it fell just at the last moment. I had hoped they would give it to her. May I ask what you got? Yay!

Well, it contained some primer samples in packets (Yensa Smashbox), perfume samples (Creed, Caroline Herrera Good Girl, D&Gabbana Light Blue, Amouage Guidance), and skin care (Charlotte Tilbury, La Mer, Kate Somerville) and a Westman Atelier concealer card. Honestly, I was just excited to have something fun going on there. I really wanted to shop some beauty, but there is no way I'm not going to use that $15 Glam up card which isn't active until tomorrow.

Reminds me of the great notes debacle of years past when some of us ended up thousands of points in the hole. Will they take it back? I’m still -15000 pts. I don’t even bother with double points anymore.

Honestly, though, I don’t really see the difference. I got like $200 notes a few years ago before I did returns and no notes now. It’s the same in the end (actually I’m still ahead in notes that I didn’t deserve - negative points = I got extra notes).

Really it only hurts them to change your status right away - why would you want less notes and ambassador status when you can have more notes and icon? Their fault. :tup:

I am curious on others thoughts though. It seems like a lot of you want to do returns and have less notes and avoid the negative points - does it just bug you to have the inaccuracy? Are you a better person than me and don’t want undeserved rewards? Truly I’m curious. I feel like I’m missing something and need to be educated or at least confirm that I am indeed a dishonorable person!

Yes, I was a part of the Great Notes Debacle a few years ago. Personally, I don't focus much on the notes anymore. I'm more concerned about getting my returns in before the cut off for the next statement. I do try to use my double point days when I'm really going to ball out. That doesn't happen a lot anymore.

This sale is always kind of a weird psychological experiment. Every year, I'm surprised that the ONE item I actually need ("need" as in replacing something already owned and worn to death) sells out while I'm busy looking at other shiny objects. This time it was that Zella jumpsuit in black. I was certain it would stick around and I could get it in-store later that day or maybe even at deeper discount in the fall. That bugger sold out right away during Ambassador launch!

Most of the items I purchased on Wednesday are still in stock. There were some Paul Green slides that sold out immediately (did not get because I was on a mission for a new pair of black boots and even though the slides were black, they were not boots). Decided to try the Paul Green Balboa Moto Boot in black. The black patent leather ones sold out right away (totally surprised—again, I cannot predict what may or may not sell out immediately). The boots arrived, but are slightly snug, so I ordered the larger size. Has anyone else tried these yet?

I'm tempted by these but haven't seen any photos, did the stores get any in stock or are they all being shipped?

I'm Ambassador and already my AG jeans were canceled. I forgot how annoying this sale can be sometimes, who has time for this.
