Nordstrom Anniversary Sale 2025

I woke up to another shipping notification - It includes 5 items, one being the pair of Mansur Gavriel flats which I assumed would cancel since I got the last pair but guess not! Theres also boots in the order so I imagine I might get one of those jumbo boxes at the door lol. At least my cats like when I get those.

Also two pairs of the Aquatalia boots are arriving tomorrow, that was fast. I will take some photos once they are here

I'm going back to the store today to see what I might have missed, and I need to do a store pick up for a Natori bra (boulder holder, lol). All of my orders from Wednesday have shipped now, no cancellations. Is it my imagination, or is this year's Anniversary sale thread slower, and somewhat lacking a lot of enthusiasm. Personally, I feel the atmosphere/gifts at my store's Ambassador day kick-off was a very disappointing start. I normally look forward to this sale like a big family gathering.

This thread has slowed down over the years. The first year I joined in 2019 (I think?), the thread was over 400 pages.

I only had 6 things on my wish list, and given my credit card situation (closed due to fraudulent charges) and being on vacation, I haven't placed an order yet. And now two items are sold out. I'm back home now and debating whether to go to a store today.

Ugh, I hate to say but I think I'm going to return the JW PEI tote bag. I have no problem with it being slouchy, but it's almost asymmetrical, like it wasn't stitched correctly somewhere? It doesn't "sit" evenly and I've been playing around with it since yesterday trying to adjust...

It's as if one side of the bag exclusively rests on the bottom rectangle piece and the other half has more of the "side" of the bag as part of its resting state? I know I'm not explaining it very well lol

Yes, I had it filled with paper stuffing when I took those photos! (I didn't want to put my actual stuff in the purse knowing there was a chance I would return it... trying to keep it pristine!)

**Edit... I put some books in there to add more weight. Same issue, maybe emphasized even MORE with the extra weight. I think it's a construction issue!

I noticed that asymmetric slouch when the bag was on display at the store and it was a huge turn off. If they can’t even make it look enticing on display there is no way it’s going to look better when I have it.

I’m at downtown Seattle and there was nothing. They had water and coffee at the door. There wasn’t even music. I’m extra annoyed because I brought my mom and promised mimosas and a festive atmosphere like in years past.

I was at Bellevue on Wednesday. There was coffee and water. Received the same $25 and $15 coupons that everyone mentioned for ambassador level. I got $5 from the scratch off. I spent the first couple hours in men's with DH. He desperately needed new clothes and shoes. Mens was empty at 8 AM, maybe 3 or 4 customers, but started getting busier as the morning progressed. Got great service from a stylist that I'd met before and her assistant. DH takes his bags with his new stuff, tells me to have fun, and takes off. I go down to womens and there are waits for the fitting rooms. I looked around and decided to order online.

So, Thursday I picked up my order when it was ready. No time to check it out there, which was foolish, I should have taken 5 minutes to go through the bag. Turns out they mixed up the order and swapped one sweater for one that I didn't order so back I go this morning!

Is it insane to buy a convertible car seat when our baby is due August? We have an infant car seat right now so probably won’t use until February or March maybe.

Generally you should try to keep baby in the rear facing infant car seat until they exceed the manufacturer height and weight. That can take a while, depending on the size of your baby. You might even want a different car seat by then, so I wouldn’t buy one just yet.

LOL.. I really like the ones that I got. Im a 36/38DDD it is hard to be comfortable in a bra and these so far have been comfortable. I am going back and getting two more and toss some old ones out.

I’m cool toned & Farm Rio seems to be all warm toned, which I get but it’s frustrating.

I wish with all the color analysis trends that stores would offer both warm & cool colorways in clothes. Or one for each season in basics.

I'm a Cool Winter and this Farm Rio sweater has a lot of cool tones in it and is super fun (and on sale).

For anyone getting rid of bras that are still in good condition, you can mail them to this charity for re-distribution!
