Nordstrom emailed me a survey about the Icon shopping event. I filled it out and didn’t hold back my disappointment of how un-special my store was and how the difference in gifts and set up among the stores were frustrating (I really want that garment bag). What I found interesting was the second question in my screenshot below. I guess we will wait to see if that comes in August:

I got both washes. I tried the black wash, but they were to short on me. I’m usually a 24 in most brands. If your borderline, there’s not a lot of stretch in these.

All my purchases, groceries, gas, etc, go toward getting Icon status and notes. It got a little complicated because I had a balance on my retail card from my order last night. I can explain in more detail if you’re interested.

Are you sure? I asked this specifically a few years back and was told it does not count towards icon status. Only Nordstrom purchases do. I gave an example of paying my phone bill, electric bill, gas, groceries. She said no. Only Nordstrom purchases go towards the stouts levels.

Ok all, I need your honest feedback. Something about these booties keeps luring me back in. I dont know why, I dont know what it is, in my head I feel they are obnoxious and tacky, but... I like them. They make me smile lol.

I still have four items from the midnight order for icons. Two are sold out now. I made several other orders including last night before it opened up at midnight for Ambassadors and all those have shipped as well.

The good news is I won’t be heartbroken if those four items are cancelled. It’ll make me feel better if I keep all three Aquatalia!

I'll be wearing the Kurt Geiger sandals w/ the rainbow heels and eagle as the front buckle design to a wedding this weekend, so I say "give them a try" lol!

I don't think that's the case. I went on Icon morning, and brought my non-cardholder friend. I do that almost every year. The rule has always been that I have to pay using my card. But she can come with me. I even RSVP for me +1.

On another note, one of my main purchase items were the Mansur Gavriel flats in plum. There is one left in the size I think will fit me, and two left in half size down. Sigh. I am not going to stay up until midnight but may shop in the middle of the night if I happen to wake up. I really want them.

Mansur Gavriel flats were hot last year. I didn't pull the trigger on Icon day, but I caught them on a pop-back.

That's great--and also, keep checking your wish lists for (weird?) pop ins! A few weeks ago when I had one of my insomnia bouts, I checked mine, and I got On Cloudswift Running Shoes in Glacier /White for . . . (gulp!) $35.00! I don't know if that was a glitch, but they arrived in brand new condition, so I'll send our that energy/those vibes for our wish list items!!!!

Yes, I made sure before I upgraded. According to my stylist, they just changed their policy a month and a half ago. I double checked with the head manager and the person doing the credit check over the phone. I made it clear I was really close to making icon status and did not want to start over again.

LOL! Fair enough! I was looking forward to the blazer because it’s unique. But if it’s meant to be it’ll ship. That’s my story and I’m sticking to it!
