The NAS opens on July 9th for Icons, July 10th for Ambassadors, and July 11th for Influencers. The public NAS starts on July 15th and runs through August 4th.

This was my big shopping splurge day for a long time. I lived in Chicago two years and went to Nordstrom for the first time. I swore I’d shop there one day. Then I saw a woman wearing a gorgeous red Burberry trench that I’ve never forgotten and wanted badly. I moved to the DFW area and later could afford to shop. I’d load up on work clothes and Burberry. One closet was filled with Burberry ponchos, ruanas, trench coats, and scarves in different plaid patterns, fabrics and colors, mostly from the annual sale, which I still have and wear. I often bought Frye boots too. Since dropping brands like Burberry, I buy very little now and will probably just get the Oribe sprays this year since I missed the Barbour Beadnell. I have a for fun one day a week job at a southwestern retailer so I get most of my clothes there now. It’s near the Nordstrom where I now live since leaving Texas, but the store is small with limited offerings. I popped in the other day and there were few shoppers and none of the old anniversary sale excitement.

I got my initial order today. The Veronica Beard fair isle cardi is adorable…soft but weighty..it also runs generous..I’m a 40DDD 16 and the XLfits me fine…even buttoned! That Bernardo shearling cape/jacket is also fab…XL fit with wiggle room. The Birk Madrids are a keeper but I wear a 10M and I have the strap on the tightest hole so maybe not good for narrow feet. I also got 2 pair of Tortoise sunnies..Tom Ford and Gucci…can’t decide which to keep. Those are replacing a pair I lost in Spain last month:sad: oh..and the Monica Vivander silver hoops have a great secure clasp so maybe I can keep these for awhile. Sorry..no try on pics cuz it’s 104 here and I’m a mess:smile:.

I tried on that Halogen collared sleeveless shirt and agree that it was nice! I was in between sizes so I had to skip, but it looked cute with all of the skirts, trousers and jeans I tried on.

I’m stalking this one too! I know I asked in Scottsdale and they said it was an online only item and no stores got stock

@chandra920 are you shipping the glasses in or taking them to a store? My order for the 52mm was canceled last night and I really wanted to get my hands on a pair.

This is because they allowed Influencers to expedite their orders and didn’t allow Ambassadors to, so your order goes to the back of the queue. I’m in the same boat as you.

Feel free to do the same a see all the perforated booties, massive blanket scarves, huge Kendra Scott everything, camo jackets, etc. All that to say - much of the “stuff” we are working so hard to acquire this year will feel very silly soon enough! And then the classic, designer items…they’ll have their own sales later this year.

But I do still remember one particular coat I missed out on in 2018…that and there was a Chloe Marcie tote one year…

Anyone have any pieces they regret missing out on from years ago?
