The NAS opens on July 9th for Icons, July 10th for Ambassadors, and July 11th for Influencers. The public NAS starts on July 15th and runs through August 4th.

I wasn't able to go to the store today but ended up shopping with my Stylist via text, pics, and phone anyway. Got the following items: VB Brown Faux Leather Blazer, VB Blue Corduroy Blazer, L'Agence Pink Plaid Blazer, Farm Rio Toucans Scarf Sweater, and Charles David Floral Silver Sneakers. Debating on a few more items this evening. My Stylist talked me into the blazers and if they don't work, I will return next week. The L'Agence was the first item I knew was on my Wish List, so I am truly hoping it is what I envisioned. Hope everyone is able to get what they are wanting. Happy Shopping!!

FRAME Navy Dress This pic does not do this dress justice. My friend and I both bought this dress, even though we have totally different body types.

Cinq a Sept mini dress - this is a true red or maybe a tiny bit blue-red. Not sure if I will keep it due to the length. Too short for comfort for me, but really flattering and husband-approved.

i called it. the navy frame dress has a very flattering cut. can take u from a wedding to work event, depending on accessories. You look great!

Whew. Just got home from a full day with my daughter. I ordered 25 items last night at the opening of the sale and I can tell after today in store at least 5 items will go back.

The Nordstrom oversized coat, didn’t like the quality or cut, the Halogen rolled neck sweater, didn’t like the quality, the striped Splendid sweater, liked the quality but those stripes are out of my comfort zone and I don’t think I’d grab for it with everything else I have in my closet.

This is the first year both my daughter and I were not wowed. Not even a little, the food wasn’t fresh or plentiful, the quality of clothes have gone down but the prices have gone up. I tried on several items at the store and walked out with nothing.

Which frankly I think is due to the above but also shows that these past several years of my revamping my closet and only adding in quality and “LOVE” pieces shows I might be done! {gasp}

I will say I tried on two pieces I have been thinking about. The crème leather bomber from Nordstrom was super cute. I just don’t know if I’d wear it. And then a tan zip up hoodie from Nordstrom that I REALLY loved but the knit make up caused me to think the $200 price tag was too much and that it would pill badly.

I went to the Icon event this morning and it was disappointing overall. Besides losing a stud earring somewhere (probably in the fitting room but I didn't notice until I got home), there were no tables of food and drinks like the holiday party.

I stood in line at the opening to check in, and no one mentioned the free gift. I did get a scratch card and won $5. I had to ask two other employees who went to ask another employee about the free gift and coffee location - Topanga location is in the studio style room (forget the official name, second floor by the entrance leading to the parking structure). There, I stood in line for someone to log my name in a list for the free gift. The mother-daughter in front of me were asked if they were Icon (they weren't - one was ambassador and one influencer, so not sure how they got in today) - their names were written on different log lists - there is one for each level. They also got gifts, though I am not sure whether theirs was the same gifts and whether mine was any different. The only difference with the icon gift bag might be the envelope with the three cards in it, though I did see the same mother-daughter getting a free drink because I was also behind them in line at the e-bar later. There was coffee or small bottles of orange and apple juice. And that was it.






Icons also got to have complimentary embroidery on the gift bag, but mine was not ready by the time I left so I am picking it up tomorrow. Not sure if other levels will also get this, though the same mother-daughter duo were waiting for their bags when I filled out the form.



Here are some items I tried on in-store. I had most of my orders ready by the time I left, though half of it isn't ready until tomorrow. I'm a S/M or 6/8 and 5'3.

Thank you for the review of Topanga's icon event - I'm heading there tomorrow for the Ambassador event. The mother/daughter non-icons will most likely not be able to check-out today at the anniversary sale prices because when your credit card is swiped, the prices change according to your level's access date.

The personalized tote is cute and will be available to Ambassadors as well as gift bags and vouchers but I would love to get the sugarfina candy boxes!!

I really like the purple on you - great color and fit. The white one would be also be great - extra small. I hope your other items work out!

They may not be the cutest, but they are super comfortable. I wear them all the time to run errands and to work out in. I would at least try them on because they have other colors and they do go on sale.

I have a pair too. The comfort is incomparable. You almost have to ignore how they look.

That white Vince crochet sweater is perfection!!! And definately keep the red dress!!

I was thinking about that mixed media dress. It looks great on you! Do you really think it needs to be laid flat to dry? I am hesitating getting it because of that but I'm guessing those instructions are because of the sweater top.

Good thing you told me about the care instructions because I never look at them before buying 🫣 I think it would need to be laid flat to dry or the pleats wouldn't stay (I know from personal experience of other pleat dresses and putting them in the dryer, unfortunately). The material is heavy though, so I feel like it will take a long time to dry.

The double breasted sweater jacket is on my list to order tonight too - just wondering if you think it runs true to size - I was planning to order a medium which is the size I most often take in sweaters but sometimes Nordstrom brand is a little generous. It looks really nice on you too by the way.
