I’m trying to figure out when to shop.

I can shop at 11pm Wednesday. Do I shop at 11 & have a double points day (my last) for a few hours, or do I go to the early shop event at my local (small) store at 8am?

Last year it took over a week to get my items delivered.

I can’t decide. I’m just getting Zella stuff, but a lot isn’t at my store, like the Proof panties & and the non-NAS 1822 jeans.

I hate ordering to pick up in store because then when your store doesn’t have it, they just cancel it instead of get the warehouse to ship it.
I try to think of it like are you going to wake up the next morning after you used your double points day and shop again or will you be “done” (until we tell you what else you need to go back and buy)?

If you’re going to shop for an hour when the sale starts either way, then just use your double points, shop when it starts, and you’ll have the best chance of getting everything you want with double points.

Omg totally missed the part about in store event the next day.

Anyone not going in store: listen to me.
Everyone who can read and/or will be going in store, ignore me.

Anyone have experience with Ecco Sneakers? These are a maybe for me - not sure about the white with the embossed pattern although it looks very neutral. They do have solid colors but I want to make sure these are comfy. I like that they are water resistant.

Their leather slip-ons are great (and comfortable) so these should be worth a try! Sometimes sizing is a bit off between styles, so if between sizes maybe order both?

I agree with using your double points day when the sale launches, even for only a few hours. I hardly depend on my store's stock because a lot of what I want to order needs to be shipped. However, I do recognize that I tend to OVER order since I order anything that I'm interested in multiple colors and sometimes a couple sizes depending on the brand/type of item. I'm okay with making big returns.

I also do go to the store the next morning to see my items in person and get a feel for whether I really like them, as well as walk around to see if anything else catches my eye (usually does).

I am Icon this year, though my wishlist doesn't really have any items that are coveted in the group.

My absolutely favorite sneaker. I own five pairs in different colors/patterns. They last forever, have great arch support and are classy looking. Ecco hasn't done a print version in several years. So thanks to you, I now have one item on my wish list (maybe two if I get the black pair) LOL!

I like barrel jeans. They’ve been around for awhile (I’ve had some Mother ones for about 8ish years) but you’re right - they are super trendy right now. Sometimes when I wear mine, I feel the desire to yell “I got these before they were trendy!“ to any GenZer that walks by. I know that they give zero Fs about me, but I find them intimidating in all their coolness. Gen Z judges me in my dreams. Anyways, I digress. I think barrel jeans are a style that you either really like on you or really don’t. I think they’re super cute and I like the low slung versions the best. I don’t care for the high waisted ones as much. They feel like more of a low on your hips type of situation to me. If you’re curious, you should try them! I don’t think you will have to stop wearing them in a season. The best thing about the last 5-ish years jeans-wise is that basically everything is in style. You see it all. And I really truly don’t think anyone cares.
I love this comment and giggled at your analysis 😀.

I think we are shopping twins. I also order anything I think I love and some in two sizes to make sure unless its a brand I buy all the time. I do this at midnight on Tuesday. Then I will go in store first thing and see what they have from my list in person. If I love it and they have my size, I re-buy it so my SA gets the commission and return the online order. I have to do it this way because between my 2 stores they seem to have about half the items I want. i dont mind big returns. I also pay for expedited shipping. I usually have most things I order within a day or two and most will be returned by the weekend, as I never sit on my returns. I want someone else to have the opportunity to buy it.
