One of my favorite influencers recommended the Marc Fisher Lewisa block heel pumps during the sale at $99.99. They've now been marked down to $79.99. I had to try on a couple different pairs in my usual size to get the right fit as the first pair felt a bit too snug in the toe box, but the second pair was great. They are really cute on, pretty comfy, and a very nice dupe of the $725 Gianvito Rossi Piper pumps but with a heel height that is maybe 1.5" lower.

I don't have this particular pair, but I've found that Marc Fisher shoes tend to be quite comfortable and hold up really well for a long time. I have a pair of their ankle boots that were a dupe for the Acne Studios pointy-toe Chelsea style (I can't remember the style name) and they still look and feel great after maybe 10 years or so!

I feel as we think back on this sale every year, besides the joy of this group, we recognize that the things that really sell out, don’t get marked down. The things that for whatever reason they bought too many or picked the wrong trend, that end up there during the end of the sale are going to be marked down further than we paid, often not by much. Anyway to be blunt, these are the things no one wanted. I’ve generally been pretty happy & have definitely benefited from the insight of this group. Thanks!

Does anyone know if Paul Green sneakers can be sprayed with a stain/water repellant? In the recent triple point
event I ordered a pair of the Upbeat sneaker with elastic laces by Paul Green in white. I have to say they are super soft/comfy and I love them but not sure how they hold up compared to other sneakers. Still keeping the PG Unity sneaker in the tan color in my wish list in case there are further markdowns. Thanks to anyone who knows and hope everyone is doing well.

Main things that are better on Poshmark:

1. Easier to list and track all orders (app just faster to use with good defaults and good organization)

2. They take care of shipping so you don’t have to calculate it for different items. It’s just a flat rate for everything. You print the label and put it on any priority mail or other box you want. It’s always priority mail so takes 2-3 days.

3. BEST ONE: Posh holds the money in a kind of “escrow” until sale is final. In order for a buyer to buy an item, they have to pay posh, who then keeps the funds until the buyer receives the item and accepts it, at which point the seller gets paid by posh. The buyer has three days from delivery to accept or funds are released automatically, so you always know the latest that you’ll get paid. This prevents people buying and not paying right away, encourages sellers to ship promptly so that they can get paid, and it also prevents any unpleasant interactions between buyers/sellers. Any issues go though posh, returns aren’t allowed unless the item is misrepresented in which case posh decides and their decision is final and funds are distributed. Sometimes, like a lost package, they’ll pay the seller and also let the buyer keep the item if it eventually shows up. I find their CS really helpful and fair in cases of disputes. The entire process is just more efficient.

I just wanted to come back and say thank you for all your tips! It got me started and I sold my first pair of shoes.

I didn’t buy a lot this year but was happy with everything I did buy. I only did one price adj for around 50.
