Yes, the AG Saige are the ones I'm talking about! And our different reviews re: sizing just proves every "body" is different. I completely agree that the wide leg is the perfect wide leg-ness. However, being 5'0", 51 years old, and well into menopause, and sadly carrying my weight differently than I used to, clothes just don't fit me like they used to, unfortunately! Also, AG is a brand I've never worn before...so it could very well be that 27 is actually true-to-size for me in that brand, and 28 is my true size in the brands I usually (or lately) wear (currently a mix of Agolde, Madewell, and Levis). HTH! :smile:

Thank you. Good to know about sizing. Yep, sounds like they would be perfect on me. Oh, and they're soft, too? Bum. I'm in contact with CS, so hopefully they can reroute my box.

Well color me stunned...I just received a shipping notification with tracking info! I'll report back with my thoughts once it arrives. :)

I've actually been really lucky with my orders this year...in past years I've had lots of cancellations, but this none so far this year.

Woo hoo! Yes let me know your thoughts. I’m excited.
I’m glad you said something because I went to go check my order and what do I see?! The grey one! Of course I ordered it, LOL.
Now I have two ordered but no shipping yet. One or both will definitely shipped. I’m feeling good with these odds. LOL.

I was hoping for a purplish black but it's a very dark wine. I'm cool too and was worried it wouldn't work, but it does. I think it's more of a neutral color, not really cool or warm.

I still have multiple items on the way somehow :lol:.

I originally avoided Nordstrom branded wool and cashmere items because in prior years they were just too itchy for me but then I saw them in store and really liked them and have been watching for pop backs in my size. I was able to snag the wool & cashmere turtleneck sweater in grey mineral and grey plum as well as the wool blend zip hoodie in camel.

I also got a pop back of the Rails eyelet sleeve sweater.

I was disappointed in the EF items in this sale but there were a couple I didn't get to see in store so decided to try them: the merino wool pullover in blackberry and the reversible wool and cashmere coat. The plus size wide leg pants were cancelled from my original order and I was able to get a pop back of those.

I've been looking for light colored booties for a couple years so decided to try the TOMS wedge booties.

My VB cardigan is also finally on the way.

I'm still waiting for a pop back of the Nordstrom pleated mixed media dress in my size. I really like it but found my usual size quite tight on top.

Ugh, I woke up to a cancellation notice of the Mephisto sandals I ordered 8 days ago... I was wondering why they were taking so long to ship. They showed in stock for 6 or 7 days before going out of stock (I noticed because I checked my wishlist daily for other things, and saw them there). Im assuming they are coming direct from the manufacturer because their stock control is clearly very poor.

I received a few orders this weekend (everything is kinda piecemeal because of ordering pop backs…) I got a pair of on shoes, my second pair this sale and they were clearly used. The sole had dirt that appeared to have been tried to clean and the shoe itself smelled of industrial cleaner. I am familiar with the smell from other thrifting purchases. I didn’t even bother writing customer support I just initiated a return and will reorder on another pop back…

Also received a Varley sweater I’ve been waiting for and it was the totally wrong size. Off to stalk for more pop backs.

So I wanted to just share this mildly silly story. I have been on the hunt for a specific pair of Eileen Fisher pants in different colors which, when I bought them, were only available in black and I LOVE how they fit me and I wear them all the time for work, they are a workhorse. I didnt realize until today that one of the styles of pants for the anniversary sale are those exact pants?? In colors other than black?? I rolled my eyes at myself when I realized. I even stopped in store to make sure it's actually them and sure enough, yes, it is them. They are the "high waist slim ankle pants", I will grab nocturne. I wish the purple was less warm and jarring, otherwise I would grab both colors. Anyways, as I assumed, I always fall back to my tried and true- Eileen Fisher is my go to and I should have paid more attention to it when I first made my shopping list
