I really thought they would cancel everything so I didn't try to order. Kind of regretting that now.
I also had my cart ready to check out but if I didn't get a cancellation or receive my items by my actual access date, would I re-buy everything? Just not sure it was worth the uncertainty and added expense so I didn't complete the order.

I didn't even think about those what ifs, that is a good point. There is not really anything in the sale that I absolutely can't live without so if things sell out then so be it. I'm most interested in a few Paul Green shoes.

Truthfully to save face, Nordstrom should honor the orders that happened before they fixed the glitch. It makes them look bad that they went back on what the website allowed customers to do - pretty bad customer service for a company that prides itself on customer service.
I kind of feel like it's bad either way. It looks bad if they cancel orders, but not cancelling orders is unfair to those that should have had first access to the sale.

I wonder if Nordstrom will have to do some customer "appeasing"--like let lower-tiered access earlier or extra points (as was mentioned earlier) because there might be complaints from those who didn't get the opportunity? In the scheme of the world, not a huge issue, but I do think this might be a "to be continued" episode :). Fun to see what you all are ordering, and I might have some questions . . .
