You can actually get them in Europe for cheaper than in the US and then you're not limited to the styles and colors in the anniversary sale. If you don't love the style in the sale, I would just get it in Europe.

It's great for walking around but I also use it as a second carry on to use on the way back, esp the expandable. Pack it in your bag and use it to bring home goodies or things you wouldn't want to go missing if you packed in your checked luggage.
I am a total beauty junkie, so I am looking forward to seeing all the skin/hair/makeup options this year!

I think it’s useful as your personal item on the plane and for train rides. It’s a good beach bag too. I usually store my crossbody bag inside mine on the plane and take it out later for sightseeing. I prefer crossbody to shoulder bags for daily activities.
Oh my - I’m usually a 10 or 12 petite… I hope the sizing will accommodate my curves! Lol
I'm disappointed that the Diptyque mini candles appear to be missing. For several years in a row, the sale had packages of 5 mini candles for a really great price. I would buy several packages of them. I love traveling with those candles! They were the perfect size for a 3+ day trip and would make sure the whole room or suite smelled fantastic. At the end of the trip, the candles were done, and you could recycle the glass containers.
Last year, they changed the set to 3 small candles. The set is significantly more expensive, the candles have a wider throw (so you don't need three burning at once), and they have a significantly longer burn time (which means I can't usually finish a single candle in a trip). The minis now aren't sold anywhere. I doubt that anyone else has this weird complaint, but I felt like airing my grievance!

Honestly it's not a very curve friendly blazer, if you google Kate Middleton Duchess blazer you can see how it's a slim fit (i know she's super skinny but like others said it's pretty snug and not a lot of room for alterations unless you size up), I'm usually a 6 and I went up to a 10 for alterations and it's still a snug fit. If you really want maybe you can order a few sizes before the sale to try it out, they have the usual styles in house now, maybe try the plaid one because the solid ones are a little stretchier and the plaid fabrics tend to be stiffer. I remember last year they previewed one Smythe blazer but ended up posting about 5-6 other styles/ patterns to the site after it went live.
I have two Longchamps bags from previous anniversary sales. The expandable is a good substitute for a tote and the travel bag is great as a carry-on bag. These were two of my most-used anniversary sale purchases. They really held up well (from 2018 and 2021). The black one definitely shows stains and dust but cleans off easily. The light colored handle also shows wear on the leather. Maybe there are more color options this year?
I went up a size in Smythe. It’s similar to VB (UK sizing, I believe).
Does anyone know of a strapless bra in this sail that works on someone who is large chested?
I have the Natori Feathers one, works well for my D chest. It wasn't in the sale last year, as that was when I bought it and paid full price. Not sure about this year, as I haven't looked at the links too carefully yet.
