Speaking of the AllSaints Elora, I had to take a photo of it next to my old NAS BlankNYC pleather jacket and my NAS Dalby. Just to prove to myself (and my partner) that I don't own three of the same jacket. Okay, they ARE all pretty similar. :shocked: But one is cropped and bluish, one is pleather and black, and one is berry. He's still laughing about this. (I have the Caslon hooded black moto as well but am too lazy to dig it out.)

Definitely finished with this year's sale, but did manage to score a pop back of this French Connection dress I tried to talk myself out of on the first day. Gotta say: it's fun to try on a sweater dress freshly unpacked from a warm box on a 90-degree day! Reviews mentioned potential pilling, but I have a Gleener if that's ever an issue. Sleeves are a bit long, but you can scrunch them up. Probably keeping this dress because I love the teal. Hard to capture the color in a dimly-lit hallway mirror photo — it's much nicer in person!

So a week ago I was in the "omg why didn't I get that?" phrase and started to obsessively stalked some items, and then proceed on ordering the "maybe/talking myself out of it" items... it didn't help with a bunch of stuff popping back in stock over the weekend... lo and behold, lots of stuff arrived/arriving soon...

First off, thank you to the person here that alerted of the sale at Reiss. I ordered the Maddison Long Sleeve Rib Sweater Dress in large as it was the only size available (https://www.nordstrom.com/s/maddison-long-sleeve-rib-sweater-dress/7369379) and was able to get Nordstrom to price match it. The dress came and it fits, with no gapping at the chest. Happy with the fit and the price I got it for. :happydance:

Just a few reviews:

Zadig & Voltaire - Embellished Star Cotton Sweatshirt: I ordered them (black and white) in Medium based on their size info of M=6. It was very big on me, I ordered a small instead, hopefully it fit better. I really like the embellishment on it. I did not know of this brand until I read about it here.

Zadig & Voltaire - Strass Star Embellished Cotton & Modal Graphic T-shirt: I got them (black and white) in Medium as well based on the size info and these ones fits perfectly, but these were so thin!! These are going back.

Julia Jordan - Bow Short Sleeve Sheath Dress: Order my usual size 6. It fits loosely and quite comfortable. It is quite cute, just not sure if it is "too cute" with the bow and the collar and the pearly beads.... might be too cute... pondering on that one...

Nordstrom - Two-Button Longline Vest: With me being 5'4" this was very long for me, hitting me at mid-calf. I think it would look better if everything was "pulled up" by 3 inches.

Allsaints - Elora Crop Leather Biker Jacker: After reading so much about the Elora Jacket here I feel like I need to investigate this further. Do I need another leather jacket? - No... but a size 8 pop-up in black (which I gather from here I should size up, and let's face it, black is more of my choice of color anyways), so it's like a sign for me to get it. It came and it fits well, then I asked myself.. Do I have plenty of leather jacket? - Yes... but none that are cropped! Case closed.

Update on a previous review:

Nordstrom - Cotton & Cashmere Ruana: I previously thought this was a great idea, then made the mistake of showing my husband... He proceed on trying it on and then swinging his toy light saber with it, excitedly said to me "Look I'm Obi-Wan Kenobi" :facepalm:.... Needless to say, that is going back for me as now I cannot wear it without thinking about that image....

Yes! I picked one up years ago and it has come in handy many times. Also has attachments for more delicate fibers.

Kinda love the satisfaction of those battery operated buzzy things for sweaters, but they always die like 1/8 of the way through a sweater depilling. The Gleener is much more practical!

I haven't worn them yet. I just tried them on with various tops and they were versatile. The fit has me feeling snatched!

Thanks! I’m Ambassador too, demoted from Icon, and they were gone in a Flash in both colors before I could grab my size! Took a lot of stalking to find them… I was nonstop stalking both colors, this black and the white with green trim.

OMG I have that ruana. I love Obi-Wan! Anytime I wear anything with ruffles, my husband says I look like a pirate.
