Nordstrom Anniversary Sale 2023

Okay, I've placed four orders for
this AllSaints denim jacket.

Usually wear a 4 in their leather jackets, but when I tried this denim moto last year, the 2 fit better. However, the zipper was wonky, so it was returned. Haven't read any reviews about the zipper this year so going to assume they've fixed the issue. Ordered a 2 (just shipped) and a 4 (ordered as a pop back but it's been in Preparing to Ship status for two days so I'm worried it won't ship).

Ummmm, so I noticed more pop backs today, so I ordered ANOTHER 4 (to be safe) as well as a 6, since reviews said this jacket runs small. But is this AllSaints denim small or moto leather jacket small? Has anyone here tried it this year?

When I came home from the sale and modeled the Midnight Blue Elora, my partner was all, "you're joking, right?" Because he thought the jacket was black. I looked down and said, "Uh no, this one is clearly different!" — even though the jacket DID look black in our lighting. I pulled out my stash of previous Anniversary leather jacket purchases: an AllSaints Dalby in Berry, a black Caslon hooded moto jacket, and a black Faux leather BlankNYC moto jacket. That last one is closest to this Elora, but is (sorta) clearly a different color! Haha. I should note that he wasn't mad, he was just confused and is still laughing about this.

Anyway, this Olive denim moto is going to be SO DIFFERENT. Proud of myself.

The only things I wanted were a couple pairs of Mother denim, but of course sold out before I was able to shop. I was able to place an order for 2 styles and of course canceled. Oh well.

If you're on the petite side, I'd definitely recommend sizing down! I'm 5 ft tall and usually an XS in most clothing brands, but I ordered an XXS since Vince's items are often oversized. It arrived yesterday, and this sweater is definitely one that runs big! The arms are still a tiny bit long on me, but otherwise it's cozy and fits well in the shoulders. It hits as long on me as the model.

Thank you! I’ve got the opposite problem. I would wear an XS or XXS except I’m 5’8” and the sleeves are often too short in the smaller sizes. Hoping this one works out!

So where to begin on the denim Allsaints moto jacket. First off, I love it!! Bought the olive green and its so comfortable, the color is perfect and it’s a keeper for sure. Also bought the midnight Elora in a 4 and love love that as well. My hubby loves them too! The sleeves on the denim jacket feel so comforting if that makes any sense. As to my experience in sizing and zipper etc. I usually buy a 4 in Allsaints leather jackets. i look good in the 2 as well and I can wear it, but I prefer the 4 as it still looks great and I can swing my arms around without feeling too tight. So I ordered the 2 and the 4 on the 11th. They came fine the next day and I debated back and forth. Both of them had the double zipper and they worked smoothly. However, the 4 had a slightly wonky hem at the bottom, it was sewed too close to the edge so the lining hung down below the bottom of the jacket. i returned the 4. I was going to just keep the 2, but………..i really wanted that darn 4. Rookie mistake, i should have ordered the new 4 before i brought back the other. Managed to snag another 4 the day before the public sale started and chose expedited shipping. Worried I would get the one I returned. Luckily I got it a day later from the NJ warehouse and not my local store, thank heavens. This 4 is perfection, but funny thing…..It only has a single zipper, not the double one shown in the online picture. But I love the single zipper, all of my Balfern leather jackets only have the single zipper, it’s my Elora’s that have the double zippers. But the zipper didnt matter either way. LOVE IT!!!!

Can’t hurt to try it, and I wondered how they fit as well, but turns out they fit exactly like the leather ones do. Let us know when you get it!

Stalking the Re/done "can you not" tee. It sold out day 2 of the sale while I was checking out! Need a large and think it may not happen...have only seen a small pop back. Also suddenly feel that I need the Reiss sweater - getting FOMO!

Have you managed to get one? Same scenario- all that were left when I began to shop as Ambi were S and XS. I have several tees from this brand that I know I need a M or L. One popped up on my WL today and I grabbed it. Keep watching if you have not gotten one yet. Of course my order could always cancel but at least I have evidence I did place an order so maybe Nordstrom will honor that up the road when there are more in stock.

So many brands not in this sale or limited selections. Miss North Face, Pantagonia and the list goes on....

Normally EF sizing is fairly consistent for me.
This shirt is comical. I don't like doing modeling pics but this should give you an idea. It's basically a big square, 28" across, so this is a bust measurement of 56"...a large should be like 42". Color is off in the pic.

This top is actually the Eileen Fisher "poncho cut" which is cut 2x normal width and falls to the sides. The stock photo for the sale and the title doesn't reflect it correctly. Every size is going to be huge I think.

I love the poncho cut, I think I'll buy it now. But if you want a top, it won't work.

I ordered 2 pop backs today—a size up in the Veronica Beard jacket and a pair of Mother jeans—and both items have shipped! Still stalking the New Balance sneakers and Alo trench, while anxiously awaiting my items from my 12:01am order on the 13th. of course the only items I received so far from my first order would be clothes for my 5 year old son and a pair of underwear lol

This top is actually the Eileen Fisher "poncho cut" which is cut 2x normal width and falls to the sides. The stock photo for the sale and the title doesn't reflect it correctly. Every size is going to be huge I think.

I love the poncho cut, I think I'll buy it now. But if you want a top, it won't work.

Thank you for this feedback. I don't think I will try a smaller size now, it's not quite what I'm looking for.

Nordstrom is so weird. My Bony Levy item Sat around for six days just saying ‘preparing to ship’ or whatever the verbiage is. I messaged customer service and they just said it was normal and coming from the vendor. They said they’d email the vendor to check on it. Later that day I got a cancel notice.

Earlier in the day while waiting for a response from the vendor I saw it available again online, one left, and purchased it again. And it shipped.

I just don’t understand why Nordstrom can’t get a handle on this ever.

But happy the item is on its way to me.

Makes me feel better about having to return my super stinky AllSaints Elora.

I got the greyish denim one last year and the zipper was fine (although I do recall that being an issue for some). The green is cute! I hope it works out!!

I continue to be confused by the color on the Elora! Folks here (and the pics they posted) show a clear greyish slate blue kind of color, but then people in reviews and your partner see it as very close to black (like a dark navy). It seems like there are legit different colors floating around (plus the actual black one with gold hardware). Is this like that dress that went viral 10 years ago that was gold to some people and blue to others (or something like that?!)

Complete miss and it has a stain as well so back it goes. I do not recommend this top.

Check your double point days. During the glitch I pressed the button a couple times because it wasn't decrementing the first one from my account. Then it did take 2. I called and as we said on here they can't credit a day back however they did make note on my account and when ready to use this will just need to call customer service to apply it. In other news I bought a beauty item last week in store that just went on sale yesterday and they can't adjust an in store price without calling the store. I figured then I would just place a new order and return the original as getting people to do a $6 price adjustment during anniversary sale on the phone might be painful for me.
