I just need to vent. I am a good Nordstrom’s shopper but don’t have the Nordstrom card. Nothing from my wishlist was in stock the first day of public access, and I don’t think I wanted anything crazy in demand. Did they just stock less this year? Finally after checking my wishlist compulsively I got 2 pairs of hanky panky underwear, an ugg robe, and the ugg slippers, which were ordered on August 19th and cancelled today (11 days later). The slippers popped back in stock in other colors which I never bought because I didn’t anticipate a cancellation after so long. And normal stuff that I’m able to get every year - underwear, big shampoos - not in stock and not restocked. Also, I bought a Nuna Rava in last year’s sale and the seat pad ripped and Nuna is giving me a hard time about replacing it and claims that the seat pad on a $600 car seat is ‘out of stock’ for months. I’m just very disappointed.

I hopefully snagged the rails camo sweater in a better size (though I think one is going to be a tish small and the other a tish big so we’ll see) and also ordered the Frye Charlie booties in Silverstone and a pair of wit and wisdom jeans. I don’t know why I keep trying to find more things to buy!

I went to go do some returns and pick up my packages shipped to store. I did curbside pickup since I had a few boxes. The associate who came to my car said I had a free coffee when she was leaving, so I said thanks. I wasn't quite sure how the free coffee worked, as I wasn't given any coupon for it. I checked my trunk and found a bag of coffee beans. I thought it was a nice touch, and I like the smell of the beans. I do not drink brewed coffee, but my SO is excited to try them.

The store was pretty busy, probably because it is the weekend and the last day of the sale. I was going to check out the stock at the store but realized I ordered more than enough already. Plus, the curbside pickup and returns lines took a long time. From what I saw, a lot of the areas that were made for NAS items have been taken down/condensed into other areas. I still have a few packages coming (different sizes, colors, and some new items), but I am glad to have the sale end so I can stop shopping! :P

I got my Spanx camo leggings from the daily deal. I am a size 6/28 and the medium worked great. I bought a large as well since some people said they ran small. I didn't try on the large since the medium worked. I am not sure whether I will keep them since I think the shininess of it has me thrown.

Also, I don't own the regular Spanx, and it's been a few years since I've tried them, so I am not sure if the thickness of the camo is the same as the original. The camo seems thin, but kind of on the same lines as some Alo leggings I own and thicker than Zella leggings.

Keep checking to see if a couple things pop back up online and debating on an item that I have been thinking about getting throughout the sale. Decided a little late in the game that I wanted one of the Trail Bags and was thrilled when one popped up last night. Fingers crossed it ships. I am very pleased with my purchases this year and returned a few odds and ends to the store on Thursday. Ended up with several shoes, sweaters, Zella leggings, and have a few items on the way. Enjoyed everyone's comments and look forward to next year!
