They mislabeled the fabric content. I had the short sleeve version on my wishlist and I recall thinking it;s expensive but I can justify it because it;s 100% silk. I also added a Vince silk button down shirt to my wishlist as well. By the time I was able to shop it was sold out but I did notice that the fabric changed to 100% polyester and I was surprised that it changed. I didn’t feel so bad that it was sold out because I can’t justify that price point for 100% polyester.
If they mislabeled it, then I don't blame the reviewer for being annoyed that it wasn't silk! It showed polyester when I looked at it, so no issue there. I agree that it is expensive for polyester, but the convenience of not having to dry clean it makes it worth it. I used to buy "dry clean only" items all the time, but I've gotten tired of lugging stuff to the cleaners, and pretty much avoid almost anything labeled that way now. I've been looking for a shirt like this for a long time, so I'm willing to see how it goes. I was able to grab it last night in XS so hopefully it doesn't get cancelled. There's a very similar top on the Paige site that I like just as much, but they don't offer it in black unfortunately.

The Barefoot Dreams Daily Deal cardigan came in the mail yesterday. While it is nice for the (sale) price, it's going back when I'm able to get to the store next week. I purchased the blue color and I didn't care for it in person (kind of a muted, drab blue). I'm curious if anyone else bought it and their thoughts on it. I prefer the circle cardigan style over this one but it was worth a try.

I have it in Carbon, supposed to arrive today. I'm hoping I will like it for around the house. I don't like the drape front ones because they get in my way with the dishwasher and housework. But I do like to be covered because I have a house full of teenage boys and really prefer to be bra-less at home ;)

Ugh. Yeah. Not going so well over here. All are safe, but it’s been a rough few days. Thank you for noticing!
This thread is l kind of a happy place for me — I’m thrilled to be here for a few minutes tonight! I need to do my keep vs. Return decisions soon and I know just the crew to help with that:hugs::drinks:
I’m looking forward to getting advice from y’all and doing some good hard worrying about clothes for a wee minute or two during the next couple days.

Same here! We packed evacuation bags and gathered all our important docs. Thankfully the evacuation warning was cancelled yesterday and air quality is improving. I'm keeping our bags packed though because, earthquake country. Glad you're ok!

I just did a deep try-on (putting whole outfits together instead of just trying for fit), and did a complete reversal on my keep/return pile.
https://www.nordstrom.com/s/cole-haan-val-bootie-women/5596417 in Birch is going back. They are nice but I felt the light suede is going to be dirty quick and everything I tried on with them just made my feet look summery while my top half looked wintery. I know that sound weird.
https://www.nordstrom.com/s/frye-charlie-bootie-women/5589174 in Silverstone. I thought I was for sure keeping these. I was originally concerned about how they were already showing creases around the ankles just from trying on and would that be the kind of wear that is better over time or just worn out. As I was trying on clothes I realized two things. They are taller so I have to second cuff my jeans. I'm 5'4" and really don't like the way that shortens my legs. Also, the top was really uncomfortable the way it rubbed my leg on the sides. I only had it on maybe five minutes and I can still feel the rub.
https://www.nordstrom.com/s/treasure-bond-crewneck-pullover/5532557 I had planned on returning this in Rust. It was fine, I just didn't think I really needed it. After going through my winter things I realized I bought booties last year that are still great and what was sad and worn was my sweater collection.
https://www.nordstrom.com/s/chelsea28-oversize-v-neck-high-low-sweater/5532453 Still waiting on this to arrive in green today!

I don't think I have ever actually tried to figure outfits out during the actually sale time (probably because I used to live in Texas and could not put on a sweater in July). Then in November I'm figuring out I bought a lot of random things but nothing really works together. I'm so glad I did that today. That's $300 in boots that would have sat in my closet for no reason:biggrin:

That was very smart of you to do! I did a big closet purge at the beginning of the year, so I'm trying to be very particular about what I bring into it now. I was on the fence about the Patagonia sweater and Treasure & Bond mules that came in, and realized there's no place in my closet for "on the fence" anymore. I returned them yesterday, felt kinda good

This must be the year for closet purging. I have done a few waves of purging over the last 6 months and still have one more to go (a few things just too hard to part with even though I know I won't use/wear, need to just let those go). Eliminating the extra clutter, even if it was hidden away in storage bins, feels really good and I like having a more minimal closet (minimal for me, at least). Was honest with myself about buying only needs and not wants (skipped the denim and office stuff and focused on loungewear and athletic).

Every NAS purchase will only be kept if it is truly a YES. And I had a lot of YES this year

Agreed it is one in and one out...
We are up to 12 giants garbage bags....and counting...
Hautelook is having a BlankNYC sale

Haha, I hear ya. I'm aiming to have a more minimal wardrobe as well. I've got the clothes and accessories whittled down pretty well. But I'm stuck at shoes. I have a few pairs I really like, but don't wear that often, and thinking about how much money I spent on them makes me hesitate.
I've only kept 2 clothing items from the NAS this year (3 if I keep the top I'm waiting on), so I'm feeling pretty proud!

Good grief that sounds annoying! Mine is UPS too, but is supposed to be transferred to USPS and then delivered. It's still with UPS right now though. Delivery date has updated from today to tomorrow. I'm just so confused as to why it was in my town for 2 days and then goes to another town! What a headache. I hope they don't pull that "out for delivery" garbage they did with you!
At least I know I'm not alone in this

Update re my package that LS claimed to have delivered and marked "returned." I know they never delivered it because of my front door camera. I couldn't just re-order because half the stuff was sold out. They promised to try to locate my package and reship -- promising to update me via phone call and/or email. I got nothing. I spoke to CS, who called LS while I was on hold (I refused to hang up because no one ever calls back), he was on hold with LS forever and finally came back and said it had been returned to Nordstrom but had no further info. I just gave up and asked for a refund, which I got. Two days later, I got a FedEx delivery -- it was my order! No prior notice, nothing. So I had to call and ask them to charge me again for the items. Super crazy.

I am still waiting for LS to deliver other items. One was misdirected to two other centers in other states (it kept getting further away). We shall see if I ever get it.

How is the sizing on the Spanx leggings? Some reviews say they are sized very small & to order next size up. What would you recommend? Thanks!

I found my email receipt! I am a 6, so I went with a medium. It looks like I also ordered a small, and I want to say those fit as well but tight. I haven't tried any Spanx leggings from this year, so I am not sure if sizing changed. I ultimately returned the Spanx leggings (both regular and camo) that year, as I found the material a bit too shiny. I got the Commando ones this year from people's recommendations here and love them a lot more (less shine and looks more like leather).

This is the camo one from last year that I ordered: https://www.nordstrom.com/s/spanx-faux-leather-camo-leggings/5694532

Edit:
It looks like I ordered the moto leggings instead of the regular ones: https://www.nordstrom.com/s/spanx-faux-leather-moto-leggings/4711189

Thank you for the info. The reviews on the camo leggings said they run small and a size 4 in lululemon is equal to a medium in Spanx. It also said the material is really thin but on other Spanx leggings, the material is really the thick. I hate it when a brand is so inconsistent.
