I’ve seen things pop back for a second here and there - I feel like the app doesn’t notify me unless it pops back for awhile.

both of these things were sold out for so long, surprising to see them when I randomly checked the app! We’ll see how sizing is on these, reviews are mixed on the blazer (but the price is good) and the vest may be a little small (anyone get it and have an opinion?) Blazer shipped, we’ll see about the vest.

Congrats to those with babies on the way!

Welp. I thought I was done but I found something to stalk. I don't have any dressier long sleeve blouses, so this actually would fill a need in my closet. The one review complained that they thought it was going to be silk. It's pricey for polyester but honestly I'm ok with it because I won't have to dry clean it. Hoping it pops back in an XS but it's not the end of the world if it doesn't.

People seem to say Patagonia stuff runs small lately, but I've always found it to be tts. I saw a YouTube video where the girl mentioned that the blazer flared out in a weird way, which I noticed too. Maybe it was just hers though.

Thanks! I'm hoping it's not too small. I just got notified it shipped. The blazer looks like it flares a bit at the bottom, we'll see if that looks works on me haha

I had an order from 8/12 ship on 8/14 with an estimated delivery date of 8/20, but it's been "delayed" since departing Jacksonville on 8/16.
This shipment was another size of a top I already know I don't like (bc I received the other one already) and I just wish this would arrive so I can take it back to the store with some other returns - because I'm certainly not mailing it back, lol! If it still isn't moving by this weekend I may open up a missing mail claim - I think you need to wait 10-14 business days for that, IIRC?

I'm having the same issue, I had a package ship on 8/10 via USPS that was due to arrive on 8/14 and it has been ' In Transit, Arriving Late' status since 8/16. I think the package is lost at this point so I might have to call customer service. I also need to follow up on two items that shipped to the wrong address last week, so might take care of it all in one call...

Yes, definitely call. A few months ago, I had a BR tracking number that didn't update. I called CS and they said if it's over a week with no progress, they consider it lost. Nordstrom might have a similar policy. I have a package that's been pending since 8/20 with no movement but I'm trying to give it some time before calling CS as I imagine they're inundated right now.

Relatedly, I had several packages allegedy ship via Ontrac from Reno, NV but when they arrived the return label said Cedar Rapids, IA. I don't know if the order was transferred to another fulfillment center or what, but just another example that tracking info is not always accurate.

Me too! I have an item just saying arriving late as of 8/15... it shipped apparently from my local store which makes it even more painful! It originated like five miles from my house and has been stuck ever since. It's only a twenty dollar item so my current motivation to be on hold waiting to talk to someone about it is fairly low. Plus it was a unicorn item that sold out during icon so I really want it to arrive!

A few things trickled in over the weekend:

DKNY PURE comfy white duvet cover:
Very poor quality. I have a H&M duvet cover that's better made. I could go on and on about why this is a POS... definite return.

Nike Air Zoom Pegasus:
I bought these because I have a pair that are super comfy but from a past season in a different color. I noticed the tread and sole material is different. Trying to figure out if the dirty white color makes them look more cheap, or if this pair is actually constructed differently, if that makes sense. Not sure they're worth the NAS price. VERY comfortable, and I have wide feet. I ordered my usual size 8.5 and plan to wear them on walks (I hate running, lol). Still on the fence.

Kiehls midnight recovery concentrate:
Smells a little different (not in a bad way) than I remember, but I'm going to keep this to use as part of my nightly gua sha routine.

Still waiting for:

Zella West Coast Asymmetrical zip hoodie in purple, size S:
I don't have much hope for this - shipping info hasn't updated since 8/20 and the negative reviews about poor quality started showing up recently. $50 for a thin sweatshirt doesn't sound promising, but we'll see.

Pendelton plaid faux shearling reversible throw in black/white:
The negative review is concernining but I used my $60 bonus note so it only cost me ~$20. I thought it would be good to have as a wrap while WFH, but worst case I'll throw it in the back of my trunk for an emergency blanket.

OnTrac does that, the package coming from Cedar Rapids won’t show updates until it reaches your ‘local’ distribution center. Then you can see more details on the tracking. For me that usually means it delivers the next day. I called Nordstrom a while ago when I noticed this happening with my packages and that’s what the rep said. I’ve watched, happens that way every time.

This year's sale just gets weirder and weirder. I just got a call from a Nordstrom rep who says my clothes shipped to her house. She said my clothes were mixed in a box with hers. She wanted to verify that I still wanted them and would ship them to me. I confirmed and I did just get a confirmation email from Nordstrom.

Sounds about right for 2020. So random!
