You don't lose the promo card amount if you buy something with it and then return that item. I did the gift card promo around Christmas (I think it was buy $300 gift card and you get a $50 promo gift card good for the month of January), bought a gift using the $50 as part of the payment, had to return the gift as it didn't work out, I got the $50 back as a regular gift card.

I was bumped down to Influencer status this year. May be you all were some percentage of close enough or are regular users of your card for other purchases? I fully expected to be bumped down as I switched to my Costco card last year for my main card and haven't used my Nordstrom card for anything hardly since the Anniversary Sale. Maybe this will help me stick to my "I'm over it" resolve that I have every August but seem to forget by the next July!

Had a really nice experience with Nordstrom CS so I thought I'd share. I ordered a pair of shoes, UPS says delivered around noon last Friday. I get home after work, looked everywhere can't find them. I asked my neighbors too and nobody had seen them. I called Nordstrom later in the evening and they immediately said they will send a replacement. But it turned out the shoes are out of stock, so they immediately said that they will refund me. I paid using a Nordstrom note, a promotional gift card (from the Cyber Monday promotion), and my nordstrom card for the remainder. I just saw that the full amount of the purchase has been credited back on my nordstrom card (including the notes/promotion card amount).

It is really nice when a company chooses to trust their customers :smile:

Hi all. First of all be safe out there! Second I know this is a super low priority for most people but Nordstrom is temporarily marking down most items until 3/24. I am sure their business is going to take a hit but they are paying all their employees while they are off work due to closing stores and it includes benefits. That makes me happy for their employees and happy that I have been a loyal customer. I was even able to get a price adjustment for something I ordered yesterday.

Again all, hang in there and be well.

Oof. Thanks to the TPF banner, I bought a bunch of things from the current Nordstrom sale and used a double point day. It paid off to wait - many of the things I had on my wishlist (and a few others that weren't but caught my eye) were up to 60% off.

I'm particularly excited about this REMAIN leather shirt dress:

Those are really nice! I sure hope Nordy’s isn’t in trouble too... they’re having online sales regularly...
