The item number from my receipt is 250388. The SA helping me said they had just been told the sale now includes every scent. Her name was Michelle if you want to try calling the mall of America store and seeing if she can send you one!

I ran over on my lunch break and was shocked to find the Seattle store busy but not slammed. I easily made my way through everything, found my sizes in stock to try on and ended up spending more than I intended because of it. I have been less than impressed with anniversary these past few years, so I was pleasantly surprised.

I buy mostly the basics but found the above items cute.
Something Navy snow leopard lounge pant $35.90. It matches the cardigan I believe. Found in pajama section. Super soft.
BP leopard cardigan $25.90
Socialite green leopard tee $15.90. Yes, you read that right. $15.90 and I think it’s my favorite thing I bought.
Rails spotted military tee. $58.90. A splurge for a T-shirt but I’m normally a medium or large in tops and I bought this in a small. Made me feel good
Red Vans $42.90 cool
Red Louise et Cie pumps $79.90 great for Christmas outfits and comfy
Bought the simple human mirror for $150. Hope I like it!
Quite honestly, the handbag section was tiny and didn’t have anything I liked. Shoes were okay, but I have so many booties I resisted. Makeup section was stocked and seemed to have good deals. My store didn’t have the swell bottle, so I will order that online. There were some very nice sunglasses. Those were going quick.
Can’t wait to see other people’s pictures!

OMG! The Snow Leopard cardigan has matching pants! The sweater is a super soft knit. What are the pants like? Same? The Something Navy sweater I got has a white background. From your photo it looks darker. What colors are in the pants. I think I'm going to need to track them down tomorrow.

I only had a chance to try on the pullover, but it was definitely oversized. I typically do a XS or S in tops, but sized down to XXS and it was still slightly big.

Hmm. Your link doesn't work for me. But I think it's the blanket I bought in the store yesterday. It wasn't on my list but I found it while looking for undies and it was SO soft ans SO well priced at about $45.

Also I have to say that hearing about Nordstrom banning people because of returns is making me nervous about shopping the sale the way I have for the past several years: ordering everything that I’m seriously interested in on the first day of early access, and usually getting shirts in two sizes. I never know if medium or large shirts are going to work for me, beyond stuff by Halogen which I’ve got figured out (I have to get medium for tunics and large for v neck or crewneck tees).

I don’t feel like I abuse the return policy at all, I’m just an online shopper that has a hard time with sizes (and has bad luck with getting shoes to fit well!). I checked my spreadsheet from last year and I ended up with $1365 in purchases kept and $1275 in returns, but half those returns were shoes because I couldn’t get the right fit, and I had multiple damaged items that needed to be exchanged. I know I’m not the kind of shopper they’re targeting in cracking down on returns, but I’m a very anxious/nervous person to begin with... I do nearly all of my returns in store as soon as possible, but because of my anxiety (and having my daughter with me) shopping in store is an absolute nightmare for me.

Should I branch out a little bit and try some things out of my usual comfort zone that might have to go back, or stick to my must haves? The customer service and easy returns at Nordstrom is why I like shopping there so much. Maybe I’m being ridiculous...am I the only one concerned about returns this year?

I am a little worried too. In fact, I still have negative 700 points from all my returns last year during the sale. But like you said, I order everything I might want and a couple of different sizes.

Of course, I purchased my Spanx faux leather leggings. But right next to them in store, were Commando. Also, a faux leather. I went ahead and grabbed them as well since they were priced about the same. Guys. My finger is on the Spanx, the Commandos look and feel sooooooo real! I’m excited to see how they work with all my stuff! Very stretchy as well
