Ok, I had to dig this one up!! The above link was helpful, BUT...that's only one person's review. Has anyone else tried this product? I bought it recently & want to hear other reviews before I open it up & get going! Does anyone know if it helps w/ ingrown hairs? I use an epilator now & that's my main issue :hrmm:

ok, made a huge mistake tonight! used the No! No! again in the same area to make sure i got everything, ended up with a few burns, kinda stings too, but i guess with 75 degrees celcius being thrown at your skin it's bound to happen... yeh?

p.s. burns worst at back of knees

Maybe it's because you should only go over an area once?

Let us know how long it lasts!

I have been using the no!no! for a week now and have had very good results so far. The smell really isn't that bad and it made my legs and arms very smooth. It takes a little practice but once you get a hang of the motion to use there isn't any burning or stinging. You can check out all of my comments and progress at my site for more info. --JF

I bought one a few weeks ago and im not so sure about it, it IS painless however the smell is really bad. I did my arms with it and after the treatmend I can still feel very small stubble. My problem isnt the stubble but if the hair is still there at the root then its obviously not lessening the density. Also this thing does NOT work on my leg hair at all... I dont understand why but I go over and over the same spot and the hair is still there, nothing changed. Im really confused about that. I havent decided if i want to keep it yet or not.

I found a few reviews including this one: http://misstrendygirl.blogspot.com/2008/01/nono-hair-removal-device-review.html and it's great for small areas with stubble. Do not use it anywhere near or on your face or private areas. Hey it's $250 and I've blown $250 on many a handbag and I wanted my arm to look good holding them!

It hurts a little I won't lie. The smell is aweful but after a few weeks it works. It comes with replaceable blades for different length hair and once you get the hang of it all is good. I don't however see this thing replacing a good old Bic when you are in a bind.

So I'm contemplating purchasing this as well and to recap:

1) should not use on bikini line?

2) what about underarms?

Has anyone tried these areas? If it is not good for these areas then I will not purchase it since I have no hair anywhere else.

I have been using no-no for about a month and haven't noticed a difference. It does take a long time like all of the posts state, doesn't remove all of the hair (legs are the worst) and leaves stubble. I use it every other day and there hasn't been a change in density or the texture. Very diappointing. The woman who sold it to me at sephora said that she only had to use it every 2 weeks because it slowed hair growth down, but it isn't any different than shaving...and at least with shaving it feels smoother. Oh, and you have to replace the razor blade every time...expect another $20/month minimum if you are doing more than a tiny area.

I still have mine but i still have not convinced myself of it yet. It takes AWHILE to do an area.. You can go over the same hair 10 times before it goes away and turns into stubble... The stubble thing still has me wondering how that is suposed to lessen the density :shrugs:

I am so glad there is a thread about this product. I read about it last night in my In Style and ripped out the page, so I could buy it! I bought the Zeno when it first came out and never liked it much. I am debating whether this is worth that much money or not...

The No-No Hair Removal System was hi-lighted on The View today. They said it effectively reduced hair by 35% after 6 uses. The smell of singed was rather pronounced, however. On the other hand, they showed laser hair removal that cost at least $200 per visit and it requires about 6 treatments to achieve permanent hair reduction. So, if the No-No system costs $250 with a 35% effect hair reduction after 6 uses and laser hair removal with an unspecified percentage of effectiveness would run over $1200 for 6 treatments:angel:, is a razor cheaper?

Ok, here's the low down on the No-No!

It is NOT for your private parts, underarms or face. It's reccommended not to use it there at all, but, if you choose to, that's up to you. It's really only reccommended for legs and arms.

It takes 3-4 months to see results that you want. It's a treatment, meaning that it takes longer to work. It's not a quick fix. It DOES smell bad, but that's because it burns your hairs, and it's supposed to burn to the root, so that, in 3-4 months, you will have no/very little hair growth.

So, if you're looking for this to be instant, it's not going to be. And even after a couple of months, it might not stop hair growth. Especially when you start using this, the hair will regrow as often as it did before you started using this product. So, if you need to shave your legs once every 3 days, you'll still have to use the no-no once every 3 days.

I used to work for Sephora and we had more returns of this product than anything else. People complained that it just wasn't worth the 250, but, they didn't keep the product very long either. Remember, if you buy it from Sephora, you can return it ant any time! There is no exchange/return by date with them! So, buy it, try it for 3-4 months, and keep your reciept"! If you're not happy, return it. :)
