Gorgeous, love love the bag on you. Thank you for the tip to tie to two strings, I have been pondering the different ways to tie them together nicely.Ha, I have to say that I am kind of happy that my one LV purchase has gone for the most part unloved by the usual LV suspects(I am more of a Chanel and Prada girl--but it was the rubris that did me in!) I love how this bag stands out among all other bags on my arm, as it doesn't look like any other on the street. And it does a great job in carrying my Rose to the party. I've attached a few pics, including one of the tie I use for the drawstring. It does a great job of loosening the bag up to put stuff in and take it out, and then closes back up as tightly as it needs to

Has anyone seen the mono canvas only PM version yet?
You mean there is a mono canvas version with no leather handle and trims? I finally got to see the GM size in all colours. I must say I like GM size better.
On another note, I remember you got the Essential a few month ago, right? We finally got two in with the RTW show/event. My SA told me that he got two items that he thinks are very much 'me'. One is the cyan Essential and one is the cream colour rain/trench coat. I like the Essential! What stopped me from buying is that I kinda want a brand new one that wasn't used during the event. How do you like yours??
Nice to hear from you ... It is a mono canvas PM with vachetta trim .. thinking of purchasing another NN14 ..but unsure if I will. The essential is very understated ... the thin strap is a turn off as they should have made the strap thicker like the vivienne to balance out the design.
I like no logo leather bags. Plus Essential is light weight so I like it. Getting older so light weight is a must lol! The thin strap isn't comfortable?
Which NN14 did you buy? Did I miss seeing the reveal?! I do not like the antique look at all on Rubis. I was thinking about Rubis but I now like cognac best. My SA pointed out though very nice and elegant, cognac NN14 has sort the same look as my portobello PM.![]()
You can't place too much in the essential as I feel the straps won't hold ..it is a good casual bag. I purchased the Tan GM NN14 ..it is so so light and easy to carry. If you like the essential see if they can get another one in for you to compare ..they are still available here.
