I saw the black one as well. I thought the leather was very soft and light. But it was a weird fit. Even my husband who is very supportive said it looked wrong. When I tried to carry it handheld he said it looked like I was carrying a small bucket. That was the GM! I so wanted the tan leather that looked like it would be a perfect fit for my lifestyle with boots and leather jackets. I wish they would make that leather in a style that worked for me! Oh well. I did come home with the Greenwich was totally unexpected but love at first sight :)

Hi cali :hugs: how are you? thanks for posting the pictures. I have been wondering what GM would look like on the shoulder. We only have the PM size here. PM is really cute but I don't really like the available colours. Wish they come in brighter colours.

Hi hi Snarfy...long time no see :) How have you been? It is funny because we only have GM size here and not the PM size for viewing, so I am thankful for your PM mod pic. Anyhow, so far I am not liking this collection even though it is MJ last collection.

Hi hi Cali, i am well. I am trying hard to stay away from tPF. The less I see the better...hehe..... I do however miss seeing all your mod shots and new purchases. Curious to know what bags you are using most often now?

Awww...I miss you too and many other tpfers "missing in action"...lol. I am still very much addicted to LV bags but at slower pace as I am waiting to see what coming from the new director who replaces MJ. I love all my bags and rotate them daily so there is no clear favorites..lol. Currently I carry my Bon Marche SC and Noisette W for the last two days..

Hi Cali, it really does look great on you, but if you don't feel the love there is not much point. I think the little Spotlight PM might make a nice evening bag.

Went to see the GM thinking that it would look large for my < 5 foot frame. Surprisingly, the GM was nicely proportional and DH approved. Buttery leather quality (but bag still holds its shape). Padlock and leather have an "antiqued look" so don't be surprised that the hardware is not shiny.
While the "bucket" design might be too basic for some, I've found that it makes the perfect winter bag. Pop into a warm store and you can throw in the hat/gloves, without fussing with zippers and magnetic clasps. :smile1:
