I'm afraid I must be a dissenting voice on this bag.
I bought my tri-colored Mini at a deeeeeeeeeeep discount a couple of years ago, and it was a mistake because I rarely carry it. I love the 3 different colored leathers, I adore how well it is made, and it looks good on me because I am petite. But it really doesn't hold very much, so I find that I only use it on weekends (e.g. going to a movie or out to lunch) where I can carry a very small wallet. It's a struggle to fit my iPhone 6 Plus in it, though it does go. The additional pouch takes up a lot of room, so I never use it (though it is very well made).
All in all, when I carry it I enjoy it, but my Cost Per Wear is high despite the fact that I got it at about 60% off, and one of these days it probably needs to be rehomed.:sad:NR - 1.jpg

Wanted to also share the Marche crossbody in blue that I got earlier this year. It is almost the same size as the tote. There is one very small interior pocket but fairly useless (good for business cards maybe). The leather/suede is even more sumptuous then the tote. It does suffer from the same functional issue with the narrow/tight opening. The zipper tail is not as pronounce so I left it out which does help. Have not tried it with the side clasp opened. It is also very light weight.

I see you're using it with the zipper out too.

Just how small is this bag? It looks bigger than my Minkoff MAC mini but seems to hold less! The design is really interesting though, love how the sides fold out. The medium size looks much better to me.

your small marche is so cute in this size. i mostly have bigger bags so this small one might work but it does look pretty small and if its a struggle to fit an iPhone 6 plus in it.. must be very small. I'm wondering what i could actually fit in it. i wish i could see these bags in person.

I had a mini Marche in Bordeaux that I recently sold - http://forum.purseblog.com/threads/...ur-red-bags-here.872296/page-28#post-29122207. In addition to the small capacity, the fact that the strap isn't adjustable bothered me, and I ultimately felt like the bag looked just a little too precious and young. I wanted an edgier red bag, and ultimately bought a fire-engine red Loewe Barcelona (I adore this bag!).

I will say that the quality was fantastic, and that I'm a big Nina Ricci fan in general. One of my favorites of the moment is my teal Nina Ricci Vanesio - http://forum.purseblog.com/attachments/imageuploadedbypurseforum1456845085-922837-jpg.3289425/ . Good luck deciding!

It fits my iPhone 6 , my 4x4" wallet, coin purse, and the pouch it came with (for cosmetic). It is enough to hold what you would normally put in a crossbody bag. My only complain is the narrow opening to pull things in and out of the purse. I think it is mainly due to the cinched sides. The crossbody strap is adjustable too.

hello,

I've been thinking about getting the nina ricci marche bag (in small or medium) since i saw it a couple years ago. i think its such a beautiful classic looking bag. thing is, I've never seen it in person and I'm close to ordering it soon.

do the color offerings change every season? black would be very practical and the taupe is very pretty too.

does anyone have it? how is it holding up? i kind of want to use it as an everyday bag but I'm wondering if the leather and suede are too delicate for everyday use? i wouldn't want it to get too scratched up.

any opinions appreciated!

thanks!
I love the look of this bag! Minimalistic and yet original, plus the material just looks divine.

Yay! Another Marche owner! :) Great neutral color.

Just got my mini (small) Marche a few days ago in Stone Grey (the color is more true in the second pic).
Pro:
-Size. This is a small tote bag. I saw in store and wanted this smaller size which is more petite suited. I am 5'2" and doesn't lug around a lot of stuff.
-Design. Elegant and lady like as someone mentioned. Beautiful leather, uncommon design with the handle and nice touch of incorporating the side suede. I feel I can dress up or down with this bag.
Con:
-It is suede lined however, no inside pockets at all. A detachable pouch is included but it is small which hardly fits anything except a lipstick and mirror. My iPhone 6 did not fit in it.
-The opening is a tad narrow. I am testing with tail end of the zipper out (as seen in the pic 1). It does help a bit but it doesn't look good so I am going to tuck it back in.
Verdict:
Keeping! Love, love the external design; plus i got it for such a great price . I would not recommend paying full price for it though or maybe consider, the larger (medium) size. It will likely not have the issues from the con list.

Ok. To the ladies who said they have difficulties fitting their iphone 6 plus. I can fit my LG G Pro 2 phone (which has a display size of 5.9 inches) and the dimensions of the phone is slightly bigger than the iphone 6 plus.

Of course, the catch is that I unclasped the sides to make more space. But it allowed me to fit a folded umbrella inside the bag too. And while we are at it, you can also dump in a small hairbrush, tissues, keys, lipbalm (the small items can go into the pouch) envirosax bag, small wallet (about 11 x 9.5 cm). So while the bag may not look as pretty due to unclasped sides, I'm glad for the extra space. :sweatdrop: And yes, the strap is adjustable, if any of you is worried about this.

The bigger sister seems a bit too big. Would be good if there was an in-between size...

I just bought the medium tote, pre-owned but in absolutely pristine condition. I LOVE this bag. The size is great (I'm 5'7), it's lightweight and the craftsmanship is impeccable.
