yeah, pretty nasty. i hadn't seen the madonna superbowl perpormance and thought i would check it out because of your post. it wasn't in your face like nicki minaj. in fact it was quite enjoyable. but i agree with you about these performances and the conspiracies. madonna had the horns and during "like a prayer" she had the all seeing eye shining above everyone. makes you wonder why she would put that there...
I read a very interesting blog post about both these performances and their connection to Whitney Houston's passing...not sure I believe it though, but definitely interesting.
Yeah I absolutely agree that Madonna put in an actual performance, not this mess from yesterday.
But all of these people and these kind of shows just creep me out.
what i witnessed last night was very, very far from entertainment. the religious tones, yes...we've seen it before with Lady Gaga & Madonna...
but would put me over the edge was the (what looked like) young boys kneeling at the prayer bench or whatever and there was leather clothed chicks spread eagle in front of them.disgusting.
That part exactly made me go WTF???.... and then them singing "Oh Come All Ye Faithful".... I'm like "Are they really singin' a song about Baby Jesus to a mock exorcism???... REALLY???...".... I was raised Baptist.... but I don't blame the Catholics for bein' offended... that was a tasteless display of attention whoring.... there were even Atheists who were offended....
I'm not into conspiracy theories either, but both of the performances were absolutely laden with occult references and symbols. From Madonna's Superbowl performance to whatever the hell excuse for entertainment it was that Nicki Minaj put up at the Grammy's:- both perfomances got a major side-eye from me.
Madonna has always been a master of using religious/sexual references in her videos and I'm a fan. I have to say though that her Superbowl performance and Nicki Minaj at the G's ....... both of them were beyond bizarre.

The color/style are bad too IMO...like a wannabe goldylocks or some ish
she got straight up barbie hairline and that color both ages her and just looks disgustingly unnatural.
Hate the wig, she needs to stick with the bob. But her outfits are cute and love the shoes. She looks so much better when she is tamed.
I try my best to ignore that tragic mess on her head. I put on blinders and just look at the shoes.
