^ I think part of it was that her look before was just ordinary. and she was an underground rapper for years but she needed something to get people's attention so her talent could truly be heard and seen since in today's world it takes a lot more than talent.

So after all the plastic surgery, she was not an average girl and that helped get her where she is now. She still has a cute petite shape just with enhanced curves now.

I know this sounds bad but I like her more now than before the surgeries.

I personally think she could have been noticed without the implants. Her a** hasn't gotten her where she is but her crazy OTT style has.

My bff has caught the Nicki disease, lol. If I hear "Did it on em" one more time, I might go crazy. It has to be one of the worst songs on her album.

*~*Nicki Leaving T4 Studios in London 1.21.11...not feeling the hair, but I like her shoes!!*~*

The Zanotti's are hot but the wig is gross. She looks pretty though.

you think having a booty that looks like a diaper is nice?

I think her butt looks pretty good, actually. I don't see as many candids of her as I do of Kim so maybe I just haven't noticed the diaper booty?

I'm not against PS but could never see myself doing it until things start to droop, sag, etc  I don't understand the point of altering your body when you're in your prime but I guess everyone has their own reasons. I know in this day and age PS isn't looked at as drastic but IMO, it is. Many people have successful procedures but there is still a risk something could go wrong....I don't want to risk my life for the sake of beauty.

Besides, as vain as it might sound, I really like myself, lol.

Nicki pre surgery had a cute petite shape....I wonder why she felt the need to change it.

I see what you're saying. I mean, I know I'd never do it because I'm terrified of surgery.

That's not vain at all. You're confident and secure with yourself and that's great. I envy that.

That's the thing with Nicki, though.

She's gone through several rounds of Trial and Error.

Physically, sonically...

"Massive Attack", anyone?

I agree that her real hair might have been the hair she had when she was in the studio in "My Time Now". I'm not a fake hair expert, though.

ETA: I'm liking the remix of "Roman's Revenge" with Lil Wayne.

But I start to think that *I* could be the next great rapper if Wayne is just throwing out movie titles like Mr. Movie Phone.

"Salt, New Moon"?

Seriously, I just don't get the new rap style that's getting love. Ok, sure, some of the lines might be clever, but overall, they mean nothing. It's like Wayne, Nicki, Drake...they just spit out random metaphors and puns that have no relation to each other, then call it a song. Which seems to be why their albums aren't that great, but their guest spots are better.

as a whole the music industry is pretty ****ty! Can I get some good old' Luther Vandross R&B, Whitney needs to get it together, I needs some R&B. I like Rock, too and that's pretty dead as well!

I listen to Run DMC, Bix, Slick Rick, NWA, etc. if I want REAL Rap...

So true. So not like old school. No message whatsoever!

I was listening to 'Self Destruction' this morning and said to myself "they don't make it like they used to. A real message, not about material possessions or sexual connnotation".
