A potential explanation could be that Nicki's security team is different than that of Britney "Too Big To Fail" Spears, Beyonce, and Gaga.

Call it a publicity stunt, lie, or malice being expressed toward Nicki because of how she presents herself (or simple lack of awareness of who she is)...
