thats strange. I guess you can get a platinum plaque without consumers buying a mili. the record biz is funny as hell. I can see how these certifications have the potential to be shady. I suppose kanye's label already shipped a mil too b.c I havent heard of him going platinum yet

^ Yeah it def is strange but the music industry just isn't what it used to be. Albums don't sell the way they used to so I guess the standards had to be adjusted accordingly.

I've BEEN over Lady Gaga. And i'm two minutes away from being over Nikki. I tried to give her a chance because there's no other mainstream female rapper right now that's doing anything. But I just cant stand the gimmicks.
I guess a million these days is a tremendous accomplishment, so congrats to her.

Don't get me wrong, a year ago, she was great, but she's in a rut. She's going opposite of Gaga. Gaga is growing, Nicki is not...at least for now. She's put out some great stuff, but her more recent stuff is so-so. Unless something changes soon, I don't see her in the game a year from now.
