Nicki Minaj has deleted her Twitter account after an argument with a fan who leaked her new music.

The 29-year-old singer and rapper has pulled down her social networking page after a fan site NickiDaily posted tracks from her relaunched album Pink Friday: Roman Reloaded.

She tweeted: ‘And that's exactly why I'm paying the barbz DUST right now!

And deleting my twitter. Smdh - don't cry for me argentina.’

Adding: ‘Like seriously, its but so much a person can take. Good f***ing bye.
But Nicki did return to the social networking site on Sunday for a brief period telling followers she would be looking for a new set of ‘barbz’ her nickname for her fans.

She posted: ‘On second thought I'll just follow a new set of barbz. The ones I follow r very mean and ratchet. *side eyes them* *looks into the sea for more.’

NickiDaily.com has also pulled down their site and the link simply leads to a page that says closed.

Nicki now has 30 days to reinstate her account should she change her mind.

Her fans aren't the only ones who Nicki is fighting with - she has shocked her father by claiming she wanted to kill him in an interview.

Omar could not believe his ears when the 29-year-old appeared on ABC's Nightline show and described him as a drug addict and alcoholic who often threatened to kill her mother Nina, and once even burned down their house. The hip hop star said: 'I wanted to kill [my dad]. I used to wish he was dead.

'We were afraid for my mother's life because whenever he would have a real bad outburst he would threaten to kill her.'

However sources close to the family say her comments were highly exaggerated, that while Omar had anger issues, it wasn't as bad as she said.

He said he never knew she felt this was and loves her very much.

Nicki is an 11 year old like sh*t.

Yes, the fan site was wrong to post leaked music because it is illegal but as usual she went all the way left field with her reaction. She'll be back. I doubt she's deleted her twitter permanently.

Nicki is an idiot. She should be mad at someone from her camp since they were the ones who obviously leaked that record. The fact that she's turning on her fans when her first week album sales are down 33% from her first album is stupid and disgraceful.

I used to be a fan of her back in 2009, but she barely resembles that artist at all. It's like she's trying so hard to be mainstream that she has clearly alienated her fan base when she first came out. Not good and a clear recipe for disaster.

*~*Someone (from her camp) leaked Nicki's "music", and she's mad...PLEASE. She needs to grow up. Music gets leaked all the time; both Rihanna & Beyonce's albums leaked a week or two before they were relased. I think she's more upset that people didn't like what they were hearing, so she's throwing a tantrum. Nicki, get over yourself boo. You can (and will) be replaced.*~*

Ok!

I can't think of the last time an artist (other than Jay and Ye') got around having their album leak. With so much technology these days it is what is and you just have to deal with. She should be grateful that it didn't leak 3-4 weeks before her release date.

She's def probably mad that there are far more negative reviews of her album than there are positive ones. I've heard 2 songs in full and that was more than enough. That album should be used a coaster......it's trash.

*~*Yep. If it leaked & was getting positive reviews, she would not care in the least. The "album" was garbage, all 22 songs of it, & her fans were calling her on it. She needs to go back to the drawing board.*~*

Agreed. I couldn't get through listening to the samples of each song on ITunes.
