Just received! The staff really kept my item dry and safe from heavy rain. The material feel sturdy but I have ordered bag organiser from Samorga and hope to receive it soon , so I can start using the bag. It will be my work bag,to hold my laptop, water bottle and maybe a set of clothing for my gym after work. So thrilled!

Congrats on this little beauty! I got this same bag last year and it may be my favorite Alma BB. I also have it in epi and DE. I love that it’s a teeny tad bigger than my other two and that little extra room is great. I love that the strap is wider and more comfortable than the other ones. I wished I had also bought the Neo Alma in cherry berry or crème when it first came out a few years ago (and was under 2K USD then :lol:). It isn’t as popular as the classic ones like the black epi so it’s a bonus that even fewer people are out carrying it.

I love the speedy. Does it feel like denim or is it different? The website describes it as jacquard. Do you think it will hold up well. I’m not near a store and am considering ordering the denim speedy or On the Go.

Yes, it does feel like denim, but not denim you would want to wear. It's a sturdier, thicker type of denim compared to today's denim for jeans. Maybe more like a jean jacket from the 80s? :lol: It's a good thing though- helps it keep the bag's structure and yes, I do think it will hold up well. I was a little nervous myself to buy it before even checking it out in person, but I love it and have no regrets/concerns. I had to look up jacquard- that just means that the LV logos/motifs are just woven into the denim, not printed on.

So funny story but not so funny. My local store had the canvas nano speedy in stock. I dropped in and told SA I want to purchase the bag. She had to have it pulled from stock and told me to have a seat and would be about 15 min because they were very busy. After about 10 min she brings me to the counter to point out that another man just purchased the bag. Womp. So I came home with the empriente one because I always wear black. However, now I am not so sure!! OY I am thinking the bottom of the bag might get dirty unless I hang it on a bag hook. Also, can anyone tell me how bi-color leather wears? The leather feels a bit thin to me, and there is no structure on this one. I have owned other empriente leather pieces, but this leather definitely is softer.
