I vote for Bulga, too. The Botkier hobos are not that soft.

I think Bulga bags have great, very soft leather and are pretty affordable. They also go on sale sometimes, so I think they are a great deal!

I use mine as an everyday, worry-free, all-weather bag.

I think Bulga has the softest leather. I have a chocolate Bulga studded bag that I bought last year and toted around with me during fall/winter of last year and it still looks new. (And I live in San Francisco where it rains quite often in the winter...)
