Yes, the lack of kisslock is what drew me to the Crosstown Crossbody that the department stores were selling circa 2017. It is almost like the Penny, which I may buy if they keep it at the Outlets with a reasonable price and in attractive colors. Yes, there is a Dinky Originals 2020 they have without kisslock, though: style number is 89171. I just wasn't into the thicker strap or color ways. Now it's being tased out in a SAS
I actually like the thicker strap seemed to me so modern and I have 2 dinkys so I can exchange the strap, I am on a ban from shopping exception was to get that dinky with the extra 20%, but since it seems there will be no extra 20% then I won't be getting it, and can stick to my no purchase ban.

The dinky from the originals have no kisslock , i would be more inclined to that since it can harbor more space, maybe people lost interest? I know a lot of people re sell their dinkys exactly because as cute as they are the kisslock takes to much space
There has always been interest in Dinky bags. They just retire bags occasionally like they did the Rogue bag and many others. As for the kiss lock it just depends on the person. I like it and it doesn’t bother me. People resell all sorts of a Coach bags, not just that one.

I know people resell of kinds of bags, i am just stating that whenever I see them for sale the most common denominator is they are selling for lack of space, or that they love how the kisslock looks in theory but how impractical it is.. A lot of of models have a peek and then sales go down as new models emerge, so that is why I just made an assumption. Anyway you can find tons of dinkys in the outlet so is not all lost :) :) , the cs on coachoutlet told me that the Rogue is not being discontinued, they are having sort of 2 lines now, the made for outlet and the MTO, unsure if that is 100% true, but it was a nice surprise to hear that, i hope if that's the case the made for outlet , still has the same quality :D , as I love the Rogue line

I have plenty of them so I am good. I was just saying in general that bags get discontinued over time. As for the a Rogue, it is rarely as popular once they switch it to made for outlet. They are rarely made with the same materials. Considering most people fell for the Rogue because of the 1941 leather, etc....it won’t be the same. But they do this with several bags they discontinue in the retail stores. So it is good to have the option, but not the same for those looking for the retail line bag.

That's true, when the quality goes down its not the same, who knows the why of these decision, Rogues , I am assuming are more expensive to make and maybe the returns where not as high? Who knows what drives the sales management to these decisions... but it would be awesome to compare these so call made for factory rogues to the retail style, because even in the outlet they are $230 + and to compare if the quality is still there , or quality vs price, that would definitely be interesting ....

I got the Cashin Carry Tote (yay for gift cards!), and love it, but was disappointed it didn't come with a dust bag. I even emailed CS and they confirmed. For that price point (even on sale), I thought it would. Good thing I have some spares, I guess, but need a pretty big one for it since it's a tote.
Really? That bag should have come with a dust bag. I own three of them & each one came with a dust bag. UPS delivered the green tote to me today & it was well packaged with a dust bag.

Maybe they don't have enough inventory so they want to hold on to it...launch on outlet site later?
That would seem unwise, as less people know about the outlet, despite being open to all and promoted more in rebate websites nowadays. And although lockdown measures have eased and shoppers do enjoy buying at outlets more than boutiques for the perceived deals, foot traffic in physical retail stores is still down due to a pandemic. In a recent article (emphasis my own): “Gross margins improved at each of the company’s brands due, in part, to fewer markdowns on bags and jewelry. It hopes to keep margins strong, too, by keeping inventory levels lighter. As one example, the Coach brand will have 50% less handbags and items for customers to choose from this upcoming holiday season. “
