I saw some rogues that I was interested in, but went for the bandit in navy. I liked the price and still wanted to keep my budget below $500. With tax, some of the rogues are just out of my price range right now. I was pleasantly surprised to get early access as I'm not a frequent customer; had my eye on that bandit for a long time. Glad I was able to purchase early.

lol, I blame this forum for my lack of funds! Didn't even realize that the early access is out today; never would have checked my email otherwise.

I received one of the early access emails and after looking at the selection I am learning towards getting a hobo, shoulder bag, or tote in a light pink or peony color. The reason I am considering light pink is because I don't have anything in that color in my purse wardrobe. I have red, rose, orange-red bags, and oxblood bags but nothing light pink.

My light colored bags are tan, beige, gray, chalk, etc, but no light pink.

I do have one small evening bag in light pink, but that's all.

My only concern is that a larger bag in that delicate shade might look like a big baby bag! Or that a big pink bag might not look right on a "woman of a mature age"!

What are your opinions of the light pink bags? And do you think that light pink is likely to be an unpopular color that will go on better discounts later?

Thanks!
I'm of a mature age, and I carry my pink Parker bag. I don't think any colors are off limits as we age. Whether you should wait depends on which bag you are interested in. The Bandit is already 50% off. The Chelsea will become an outlet style so I would wait for that one.

Wow! I don't see anything that I "need"!!
I feel like there was a lot more in last years spring/summer SAS. Or maybe that's just in my head because I bought a ton that time.

I think there were a lot more 1941 items on the last SAS; funny because I'm the other way around! Wanted to buy a rogue, especially when they had the 36 on sale, but all of them had black copper! Same with the dinky 32. And now they're no longer making the larger rogue, except through MTO...boo.

I just recall the Rogues being better prices last summer, like in the $400 range. The ones this year are closer to $500. I wonder if they will keep marking things down if they don't sell fast enough during the sale.

Would anyone who got a pre-sale email be so kind as to PM me access to it? Is it some sort of gateway address like last time? I want to see if any Dinky 24's are in the sale, as well as what SLG's are available. Thank you!

Usually that tends to be the tactic; if stuff don't sell in mid July, then Coach may increase the sale percentage. That's only up to 50%, however, so I can't see the prices for the bandit or brooklyn lowering.

As for the rogue prices being better before, are we talking pre-tax? There are some online for $477 right now.

Last year, I got an olive rogue for around $420, including tax, but I think it was in July.

After all the $ I spend at Coach, I am no a preferred customer.....they wreck me with their fickleness. My SA mentioned it but was hoping to see online but none of my email addresses has an invite. As usual....
That's crazy; you should call the online number and tell them. I remember for the longest time, I wouldn't get the e-mails and they would keep checking to see if they had the correct e-mail on file. Haven't bought anything from Coach since last fall and the summer before that - not very often - and surprisingly, I got the invitation. I really wasn't expecting it until Wednesday.

I got the invitation. My theory is that they mostly send the invitations to people they think need an incentive to shop. So if you normally only buy things when they are on sale or during PCE, you are more likely to receive an invitation. Or if you haven't bought in a long time, it is a way to bring you back in. If you've been buying a lot recently, especially paying full price, they might think you don't need an incentive.

Do you only buy bags on sale? I wonder if that could be it. I have only purchased 2 items from Coach in the past 2 years but both were full price (and I get the preferred customer stuff).

I've purchased full price more than once this year, and have been on private/preferred lists of my SA, but I still don't get the emails directly from Coach. Meanwhile, I am somehow on the local outlet store's email list to get in-store purchase additional % off.....I don't get it.
