I think it's like a Friends & Family kinda thing...a Coach employee has to send you a postcard. I got one back in April from an SA I deal with whenever I am looking for something. I guess employees can pass along the savings to whoever they want. From what I understand (and don't quote me), it happens a couple times a year

I also tested the code on other Rogue bags, but it only works on the Forest 25. That's weird but also curious because I called several Coach boutiques about the Rogue 25, and these stores had all the 25 colors in stock EXCEPT the Forest!! Sneaky, silly Coach!!

Friends and Family discount occurred back in April because I used it to purchase my Mineral whiplash saddle bag in NYC for my birthday. You need to have a good relationship with your sales associates to receive one. I have always received mine in person from my sales associates at the outlet store. They are handwritten discount cards which contain their name and employee number. Also, they do not automatically give them to you either. They give me the discount card when they know I'm looking to purchase something specific from retail. Hope that helps.

Does anyone know if Coach will hold the 30% off PCE on an exchange of a completely different bag? I bought the Turnlock Edie (beautiful), but I'm debating if I should exchange it for the Nomad in Burgundy or Fog.

I would guess it would be closer to the holidays. If you have a good relationship with an SA they may be willing to do exchange now.

I think it all depends on your SA. My favorite SA allows it but I have heard a lot of stories where they will only let you exchange for the exact style bag but in a different color.

It does really depend on the SA. Mine just let me use FF on a Rogue!!! Doesnt hurt to ask!!

Coach is so freaking annoying. I just called my store and they said no. Not any 1941, no way, no how.

Combining their inconsistency with my being locked out of the most recent FOS after years of entrance, not getting PCE after years of getting them even though I had a good quarter with them (but got FF - go figure), and the fact that my SA just left (even though I was transferred to another great one), I'm thinking there are a lot of signs that Coach wants me to take a break from them.

This is what I think it might be, at least for the FF....my SA told me no 1941 stuff, she couldn't work the discount on it. Then she knew I wanted a grey bag so she emails me and says I can use the 40% on the new grey Rogue! I'm wondering if it has to do with not being out yet?

You're probably right. I bet the code or whatever works and it's just a matter of having a store or SA that will try it and put in the order. That said, my store said they're not supposed to discount ANY 1941 and that any store or SA that did would get in big trouble since those things are tracked.

I've never seen a 36 in person so I'm iffy on it anyway, but that suede Rogue is calling! I'm still holding out hope for a burnished grey Nomad in either size or a plain grey Dinky 24. Can't wait to see your python grey though, it looks AMAZING!

FYI for anyone interested, when I asked about the stud suede on Friday they gave me a release date of Oct. 23. Today when I asked, it was Nov. 1.
