Like I told dh, I'm going to a private party, partially true since a lot of people I know and like will be there

Only ladies perfumes I saw were merveilles, fauberg, Kelly en caleche, all the jardin de nil, mousson, etc, orange d'verte, equipage, the amber hermessence, caleche.

A ton of fragrance, loads of scarves - bolduc, VIF argent, pencils, spice, fringed twill and fringed mousseline, GM c/s (gone immediately - cles, pani, kachinas, mahwari, zodiac; vintage 70, vintage 70 homme, ties, very few gavroche but a lot of cotton 70 and yellow bolduc and carriage twilly patterns. A lot of ready to wear; not much in way of shoes; a lot of the plainer leather bracelets - eveylne, hapi, plain; a lot of belts, evelyne straps, a ton of paris bombays - 1750 for the smallest; 2150 for my fjord paris bombay 40 phw ebene (60 % off reduced from 4650?); a lot of omnibus (2800-4000); plumes; some pm evelynes (orange clemence and red epsom); vespa pm; vespa tpm; rugby; victoria/PB travel bags; some vibrato; one barenia picotin pm that a lucky tpfer got. . . small leather goods were very plentiful - small wallets, card cases, post its; scarf rings - pochette and twilly and a few chain d'ancre in the heavy enamel; notebooks. No karos or bebops. Thought I posted my loot pic here, but guess not. . . apologies for repeat pic

The all leather bag that I got for my partner was 60% off! I believe most were between 40-50%, but briefcases seemed to be 60% off. I've never seen so much leather.

Travel size Paris Bombays went quickly.

So we both ended up with bags in ebene? Great minds think a like.

I was considering a 35cm plume ebene barenia and toile but decided the picotin was enough ( well never enough but...)

Did you see the small grey sac depeche? Very nice

forgot to mention they had a few travel size Victorias around 2k-ish I think

880 - Is that blue Fantaisie Pittoresque part of your haul today? I have been kicking myself since I missed the opportunity to grab it while it was in the stores. If you got it today, were there many left in any colorway?

Is anyone interested in a short list of the twills/cws? For scarfies, it's nice to know what was at the sale, if for no other reason than to watch for sale items being offered on eBay and with resellers; i.e., brand new, never worn, NO care tag attached (since the "s" is usually on the care tag).

Absolutely! That would be most appreciated. It will help me gauge if I should gamble and skip a lecture tomorrow morning. I'm clearly hanging onto this thread until the wee hours because I'm so ambivalent.

four tails, I hate to be the one to encourage anyone to skip anything work or education related, but especially if you are a scarf person - there was lots of stuff there. SDsurf chick knows far more about scarves, so I would wait for her to weigh in with her list, but I also think if you go early that you have a good chance of scoring what you want. I wish I could remember more names. There were also some Wall St scarves.
